I wanna say that in my opinion, that there is a god or not that you shouldn't worship one either way. Because I don't think that's what they'd want either way. You can thank them or be grateful, but if you have to rely on them every time (not that it's bad) then you may/may not learn from your mistakes.

Sometimes you can pray, but I'd rather stand up strong and face my fears instead of hoping for a miracle. I'l create the miracle myself, and if I can't then hope that at that last second of almost-failure that it happens anyways. A fail-safe you could say.
