Yep. Crazy

i want to pass out by inhaling co2 instead of oxygen

2019-05-14 18:40:14 UTC

After watching the video, if you would head straight east on a flat earth and no correction you would end up at antarctica?

2019-05-14 18:40:22 UTC

CO 2 into O2. Sounds great

2019-05-14 18:40:23 UTC

south pole is a theory but ill throw it in there since we are talking globe earth

2019-05-14 18:44:02 UTC

<:GWczeAngryCry:402867151465086981>

2019-05-14 18:52:26 UTC

what is the formula that takes everything into account for gravity again ?

2019-05-14 18:52:41 UTC

let me get the gravity formula for you

2019-05-14 18:52:45 UTC

thanks

2019-05-14 18:53:50 UTC

formula is F = G*((m sub 1*m sub 2)/r^2), where F is the force of attraction between the two bodies, G is the universal gravitational constant, m sub 1 is the mass of the first object, m sub 2 is the mass of the second object and r is the distance between the centers of each object.

F = G((m sub 1m sub 2)/r^2 thats it ?

2019-05-14 18:55:23 UTC

I was muted? That's cute

2019-05-14 18:56:55 UTC

@eletrick33 is that the formula ? F = G((m sub 1m sub 2)/r^2 can u tell me what letters are density or bouyancy

2019-05-14 18:57:54 UTC

y'all hear about the sex lake theory? it seems possible

2019-05-14 18:57:58 UTC

im pretty sure gravity is different from bouyancy and density

2019-05-14 18:58:10 UTC

u dont have to factor in density ?

2019-05-14 18:58:33 UTC

how can gravity explain a balloon filled with helium then ?

2019-05-14 18:58:36 UTC

is the mass of an object the same on other planets or in the vacuum of space as it is here on earth?

2019-05-14 18:59:06 UTC

anwser from google

2019-05-14 18:59:07 UTC

the mass of an object isnt the smae on earth as it is on earth depending on what lattitude ur at

2019-05-14 18:59:08 UTC

NO. Gravity depends on how many atoms are in a substance, ie , MASS. Now you can increase the density of an object by shrinking it down, but it will still have the same pull .

2019-05-14 18:59:27 UTC

thats your answer

2019-05-14 18:59:27 UTC

so a balloon filled with helium has antigravity ?

2019-05-14 18:59:31 UTC

no

2019-05-14 18:59:34 UTC

it doesnt

2019-05-14 18:59:36 UTC

it doesnt drop

2019-05-14 18:59:39 UTC

it goes up

2019-05-14 18:59:55 UTC

bruh you can literally google all of this

2019-05-14 19:00:04 UTC

@Trilo! bruh howd u get here

2019-05-14 19:00:14 UTC

idk how u can figure gravity without using density

2019-05-14 19:00:21 UTC

paleocord

2019-05-14 19:00:26 UTC

the duck

2019-05-14 19:00:44 UTC

2019-05-14 19:00:46 UTC

so the mass of an object is the same throughout the 'universe' okay

2019-05-14 19:00:50 UTC

why

2019-05-14 19:00:53 UTC

because

2019-05-14 19:00:58 UTC

i asked ๐Ÿ˜ก

2019-05-14 19:01:05 UTC

the formula doesnt work do u have a different formula for gravity

2019-05-14 19:01:13 UTC

one that works

2019-05-14 19:01:20 UTC

@jeremy heres why balloons float

2019-05-14 19:01:20 UTC

@jeremy Do things weigh different if there is a difference in the pressure?

2019-05-14 19:01:22 UTC

The helium balloon displaces an amount of air (just like the empty bottle displaces an amount of water). As long as the weight of the helium plus the balloon fabric is lighter than the air it displaces, the balloon will float in the air. It turns out that helium is a lot lighter than air.

2019-05-14 19:01:52 UTC

so how is that figured into gravity

2019-05-14 19:02:10 UTC

...

2019-05-14 19:02:16 UTC

gravity is why neil degrasse drops the mic and it falls to earth

2019-05-14 19:02:16 UTC

@jeremy mass

2019-05-14 19:02:20 UTC

you've just described buoyancy haven't you

2019-05-14 19:02:55 UTC

the mass of something has density figured into it ?

2019-05-14 19:03:19 UTC

@jeremy Does a litre of air have a different weight depending on it's pressure?

2019-05-14 19:03:34 UTC

maybe idk

2019-05-14 19:03:55 UTC

i know how balloons work idk about liters of air under different pressures

2019-05-14 19:03:57 UTC
2019-05-14 19:04:01 UTC

Pls unmute

2019-05-14 19:04:05 UTC

lol

2019-05-14 19:04:05 UTC

@jeremy No is the answer

2019-05-14 19:04:23 UTC

So density has nothing to do with gravity

2019-05-14 19:04:36 UTC

gravity is why things fall to earth right

2019-05-14 19:04:41 UTC

Yup

2019-05-14 19:04:43 UTC

Yes

2019-05-14 19:04:57 UTC

so density has nothing to do with why things fall to earth

2019-05-14 19:05:02 UTC

that doesnt sound right

2019-05-14 19:05:57 UTC

u sure density has nothing to do with gravity

2019-05-14 19:06:05 UTC

?

2019-05-14 19:06:18 UTC

A litre of air at 1 bar of pressure drops as fast as a litre of air at 2 bars

2019-05-14 19:06:36 UTC

once again idk about liters of air under different pressure i know balloons

2019-05-14 19:06:39 UTC

But physicists think about gravity all the time. To them, gravity is one of the mysteries to be solved in order to get a complete understanding of how the Universe works. So, what is gravity and where does it come from? To be honest, weโ€™re not entirely sure.
https://www.universetoday.com/75705/where-does-gravity-come-from/

Neil Tyson - What is Graity? On the most recent edition of his โ€œStar Talkโ€ radio show and podcast, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson answered the question, โ€œWhat is gravity?โ€
โ€œI have no idea,โ€ he joked. โ€œOkay, next question.โ€ Then, he went on to explain, โ€œHereโ€™s the difference. We can describe gravity, we can say what it does to other things.โ€ โ€œWe can measure it, we can predict with it,โ€ he continued, โ€œbut when you start asking, like, what it is? I donโ€™t know.โ€
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Efh4bu4rcbs

2019-05-14 19:06:42 UTC

Different density, same result

2019-05-14 19:07:10 UTC

so the density of a balloon has nothing to do with why it goes up instead of down ?

2019-05-14 19:08:04 UTC

All aboard the Gravity train

2019-05-14 19:08:06 UTC

ur not making sense u said density has nothing to do with gravity but gravity is why things fall to earth so you are implying density has nothing to do with why objects fall to earth

2019-05-14 19:08:27 UTC

Gravity is mistook for DENSITY and BOUYANCY

2019-05-14 19:08:33 UTC

@Trilo! you need to GO

2019-05-14 19:08:36 UTC

lets hear this logic out

2019-05-14 19:08:46 UTC

y

2019-05-14 19:08:50 UTC

GRAVITY ISNT EVEN REAL

2019-05-14 19:08:53 UTC

idrc but y

2019-05-14 19:08:56 UTC

i know but play along

2019-05-14 19:08:58 UTC

its a theory

2019-05-14 19:09:01 UTC

jsut play along

2019-05-14 19:09:03 UTC

you're not real

2019-05-14 19:09:05 UTC

because im getting yelled at

2019-05-14 19:09:11 UTC

aight

2019-05-14 19:09:15 UTC

The gas inside the ball has less mass then the air around it

2019-05-14 19:09:26 UTC

u just described density

2019-05-14 19:09:28 UTC

yes let's pretend that it is real

2019-05-14 19:09:36 UTC

No, mass

2019-05-14 19:10:02 UTC

so mass is why the balloon goes up instead of down ?

2019-05-14 19:10:25 UTC

Thatโ€™s buoyancy

2019-05-14 19:10:27 UTC

Yes, the gas inside the ball oon has less mass then the air it's in

2019-05-14 19:10:44 UTC

that is density and buoyancy

2019-05-14 19:10:48 UTC

Yup

2019-05-14 19:10:53 UTC

concur

2019-05-14 19:10:56 UTC

epic fail

2019-05-14 19:11:12 UTC

Its a MIC DROP moment for him

2019-05-14 19:11:19 UTC

So a balloon with air inside it with less density than atmosphere is going to rise?

2019-05-14 19:11:40 UTC

@^Kevin^ may I be unmuted

2019-05-14 19:11:42 UTC

isnt that how b alloons work

2019-05-14 19:11:55 UTC

yes hence why they rise

2019-05-14 19:11:55 UTC

im not a clown or anything but i know balloons

2019-05-14 19:12:36 UTC

MIC drops first..

2019-05-14 19:12:40 UTC

@jeremy Would you say atmosphere has a pressure of about 1 bar at sea level?

2019-05-14 19:12:40 UTC

Penny drops later

2019-05-14 19:12:42 UTC

for some

2019-05-14 19:12:51 UTC

idk about pressure i know balloons

2019-05-14 19:13:35 UTC

Ok, if you have a ball with air in it that has a lesser density then air around it, what happens to it?

tell me how density has nothing to do with why objects do or dont fall again

2019-05-14 19:13:54 UTC

it goes up

2019-05-14 19:13:57 UTC

@viherkasvi whats the medium the ball is in?

2019-05-14 19:14:15 UTC

Medium is around 1 bar of air pressure

2019-05-14 19:14:16 UTC

is it a steel ball or a rubber balloon type ball

2019-05-14 19:14:28 UTC

yeah what type of ball

2019-05-14 19:14:32 UTC

that is key

2019-05-14 19:14:36 UTC

cause

2019-05-14 19:14:46 UTC

@jeremy The lightest ball you can have

2019-05-14 19:14:46 UTC

steel ball gonna be diffferent than balloon type ball

2019-05-14 19:14:50 UTC

yes surely because the added weight of the container will pull it down

2019-05-14 19:14:53 UTC

well go with balloon ok

2019-05-14 19:15:20 UTC

muted again=?

2019-05-14 19:15:37 UTC

Ok, you have a ball with less denser air then the air around it, now pop it to a scale, is there more or less weight?

2019-05-14 19:16:04 UTC

pop it to a scale ?

2019-05-14 19:16:06 UTC

Good grief. You guys are argueing MOOT POINTS

this g uy is tryin to tell me density has nothing to do with why objects fall to earth

2019-05-14 19:16:43 UTC

u can see my dilemma

2019-05-14 19:17:36 UTC

i dont know why they struggle, it isnt hard to understand

2019-05-14 19:18:01 UTC

it's hard to understand because they are applying gravity into the logic

2019-05-14 19:18:08 UTC

yep^

2019-05-14 19:18:09 UTC

u said density is figured into mass but denstiy has nothing to do with gravity so mass has nothing to do with gravity ?

2019-05-14 19:18:24 UTC

u lost me

2019-05-14 19:18:34 UTC

@jeremy Let's try differently, you have two balls, both contain equal amount of helium. The other one has bigger pressure, so denser. Is there a difference in the weight between them?

2019-05-14 19:18:59 UTC

โ€œ face palm โ€œ

2019-05-14 19:19:09 UTC

idk bro
