I want to push it to trial. Not sure if I need a new lawyer or not, but my lawyer was pretty passionate about ripping them up. He was a fellow veteran. But when they came back with the witness statement, he looked so defeated and told me no matter what we do, they'll take the side of the witness and a trial might force the jail time on me. Even if I took the stand.

Having your record expunged doesn't clear your record. It changes who can see what you've ever been charged with.

Once it's there, it's there for life.
