what is the sun indeed... the sun is one of 2 great lights... it governs the day

2019-03-15 04:29:50 UTC

if the earths flat what is the sun and the moon

2019-03-15 04:29:55 UTC

do your job

2019-03-15 04:30:06 UTC

I forget to wish everyone a happy pi day. The number that is curvature.

2019-03-15 04:30:12 UTC

See? I finally got the language right. "across".

2019-03-15 04:30:19 UTC

how do they work then@Seeker of Truth

2019-03-15 04:30:22 UTC

Pi isn't curvature.

2019-03-15 04:30:23 UTC

if they are lights

2019-03-15 04:30:28 UTC

Pi is a circle.

2019-03-15 04:30:35 UTC

@Seeker of Truth Its usin the landing hook modified to retrieve them, they also use larger aircraft to actually capture them and bring them onboard

2019-03-15 04:30:38 UTC

A circle is

2019-03-15 04:30:43 UTC

Curvature

2019-03-15 04:30:50 UTC

Curved*

2019-03-15 04:30:50 UTC

Circle isn't globe.

2019-03-15 04:30:52 UTC

I think that the sun and moon are in an electric / magnetic relationship with each other: give and take
the sun charges the moon

@The Gwench thanks dude

Pi is curvature

2019-03-15 04:31:36 UTC
2019-03-15 04:31:43 UTC

the sun is a star and the moon is a rock that reflects the light from the sun

2019-03-15 04:31:47 UTC

@Seeker of Truth and since energy must come from somwhere and other therories say that stars/the sun work by atomic reactions where does the energy come from

2019-03-15 04:31:51 UTC

i got sidetracked

someone ask bout GPS n "Sats"?..

2019-03-15 04:33:45 UTC

@Seeker of Truth The tomcat shown doesnt have the modified telescopic arm. They use them to take it down to a lower altitude and drop it in a spare patch of ocean for retrieval

satellites are engineered, designed and built, but they most likely aren't payload of rockets like most people think but rather are attached and launched on high altitude balloons

2019-03-15 04:34:31 UTC

oh

2019-03-15 04:34:41 UTC

well the balloons would pop

2019-03-15 04:34:46 UTC

the lower air pressure

2019-03-15 04:34:53 UTC

How do we even know if satellites are real

2019-03-15 04:35:06 UTC

Fishermen have often found the balloon and sometimes the actual gondola (satelite')

2019-03-15 04:35:11 UTC

ok

โ–ฌSATELLITES *** GPS etc etc ..
.
Towers/ground-based technology, (Tesla-based technologies) and geostationary balloons, have existed for over 70+ years .. and Are Still in-use
.
- LORAN system. *(The LORAN system may have been changed/ADJUSTED ). . to eLoran, for example)...for modern radio waves and frequencies, etc, but it's still basically the same,) And ...
- cell towers (and they're mostly ALL equipped to handle "GPS" processing, etc)
- radar & etc.
- troposcatter technology (tropospheric scattering) / triangulation - etc
- super sensitive receivers
and ..
- fiber optic underwater sea-cables

..(AND THE "INTERNET" IS LANDLINES and FIBER OPTIC SEA CABLES AROUND THE WORLD ...I REPEAT ..THE "INTERNET" IS LANDLINES and FIBER OPTIC SEA-CABLES AROUND THE WORLD)
(continued)..

- WAAS option. "WAAS" uses a network of ground-based reference stations. So does "DGPS" AND "AGPS" !! *Probably some others TOO! pfft.
*EDIT: "WAAS" - The WAAS, or wide area augmentation system, is a network of ground based stations (in North America) that transmit correction data back to the "SATELLITES"..("coughs",.um BULLSHIT, lol). The WAAS gives close to 5 meter accuracy on position. Other countries have similar systems, for example the European system is called EGNOS, the Japanese system is MSAS, and India has GAGAN. Most GPS receivers have WAAS enabled by default and support EGNOS, MSAS, and GAGAN.
- AND.. (as also mentioned) Probably some geostationary-balloons up there too, like I said.
*NOTE: And, If there ARE 'any' (so-called) SATELLITES? .. then ... They'd be RIGHT IN HERE WITH US then!..(under the dome so-to-speak) , ..and NOT .. i repeat NOT in "outer space" \.

And im PRETTY SURE that "GPS" only works up to a certain height! http://prntscr.com/hm0jqb what is the explanation for that! *And I dont wanna hear no "It's for safety reasons" BULLcrap either!

2019-03-15 04:35:31 UTC

@โœงMike Flatbird (Mike Blackbird)โœง
"most GPS adhere to the COCOM limits which means they shut down if they exceed 1000 knots OR 18km altitude. However some GPS modules stop returning position information if they exceed 1000 knots AND 18km altitude.

I only know of two GPS modules that reliably work for high altitude the Venus and the Ublox. The Ublox needs to be in dynamic model 6 or it will stop working at 12km. However once its in this mode its good to 50km (and possibly beyond).

Have a read of http://ukhas.org.uk/guides:gps_modules375"
From a balooners forum asking for GPS altitude cielings
