@Seeker of Truth The tomcat shown doesnt have the modified telescopic arm. They use them to take it down to a lower altitude and drop it in a spare patch of ocean for retrieval

satellites are engineered, designed and built, but they most likely aren't payload of rockets like most people think but rather are attached and launched on high altitude balloons
