@Sjeeke but for the moment being, you are going to have to set up a PC or better (becouse it uses at most 5 Watts) a raspberry pi as node to make sure your videos remain available. However, it is powered by the steem blockchain just like dlive is - dlive is centralised but thus far reliably does keep the videos online, with the exception of a few legitimate copyright claims. As such, at the moment it may be best to use dlive mainly and dtube as backup strategy in case something is taken down. If someone follows you on steem, hell see whatever you post via any of the applications powered by steem

@Sjeeke basicly, anyone can built plattforms around the steem blockchain. Blogging is big (and even a court couldnt order me to take any of that down, its on the blockchain, it cant happen), at least those 2 video plattforms (plus a few specific to porn, not that porn isnt allowed on those, so long as you tag it as nsfw you are fine) , i could imagine and i wanted to code that but in the summer my fatigue from my multiple sclerosis got real bad, probably will make it happen in autum/winter(the heat is not good for my fatigue. Its starting to get cooler, will probably have something working inthe next months) , crowdfunding would also work great on there, no third parties need to get involved (other than setting it up and releasing the system, but itd not really require a third party to hold any of the money, process it, whatever),...
