A lot of old people there

2018-11-05 21:21:40 UTC

@Timcast Oh yeah Timcast, they are discounting Democrats leaving their party and heading independent.

2018-11-05 21:21:41 UTC

Shouldnt the high turn out sooth democrat fears, not kick them into overdrive?

2018-11-05 21:21:42 UTC

You can find anyone articles of people saying anything you want if you look hard enough.

2018-11-05 21:21:48 UTC

With #walkaway.

2018-11-05 21:21:53 UTC

I've found articles indicating Republicans are pulling out of some races.

2018-11-05 21:21:56 UTC

Most of them switching over to Republican

2018-11-05 21:22:11 UTC

I don't trust chatter.

2018-11-05 21:22:21 UTC

#OrangeManBad #BlueWave #LetWomenDecide #NoMenMidterm

2018-11-05 21:22:26 UTC

My gut says Repub just because of the independent vote

2018-11-05 21:22:27 UTC

You can, but you have to be careful what you read and how.

2018-11-05 21:22:56 UTC

Indeed, information overload is a major problem in modern society

2018-11-05 21:23:00 UTC

Chatter is often going to be affected by whom you talk to.

2018-11-05 21:23:07 UTC

More than solid facts on the ground.

2018-11-05 21:23:10 UTC

60/40 democrats take the house, but by no more than 5 seats.

2018-11-05 21:23:13 UTC

It both helps and hurts that anyone can publish anything

2018-11-05 21:23:26 UTC

Lord of dankness my old friend
Normies oppressing us again
Watching commies flee on live-streaming
Farming keks with all this dank meme-ing
Fight the brainwashing that was planted while in Yale
"Fuckin' white male"
Fighting for "Social Justice"

2018-11-05 21:23:36 UTC

"What's remarkable is that although Democrats have been losing over 80% of "toss-up" races over the past 2 cycles, this time it appears pundits are predicting Dems just take all the toss-ups." LOL

2018-11-05 21:23:43 UTC

House is a toss-up would be extremely surprising to see Dems take majority in senate

2018-11-05 21:23:45 UTC

@Timcast How many Republicans voters have even been disenfranchise? Most republicans stay republican, don't switch parties like young democrat voters. Also the Generation is just getting into voter age, the ones that are Republican.

2018-11-05 21:24:12 UTC

This is the first election that gen Z gets to vote in right?

2018-11-05 21:24:14 UTC

the main reason SIlver leans for D's is that R's are defending more

2018-11-05 21:24:20 UTC

so there is more to lose for republicans than dems

2018-11-05 21:24:22 UTC

Yes Black.

2018-11-05 21:24:24 UTC

but thats faultly logic

2018-11-05 21:24:25 UTC

@ExceptionalFeather not a toss up at all, you're buying into skewed polls

2018-11-05 21:24:31 UTC

another factor we have to think about is the "by any means necessary" factor. we already have charges of hacking being laid against the georgia democrat party.

2018-11-05 21:24:32 UTC

some 1st some second Blackhawk

2018-11-05 21:24:33 UTC

you could argue people prefer incumbents

2018-11-05 21:24:37 UTC

I don;t look at polls :/

2018-11-05 21:24:37 UTC

and Ds face an uphill battle

2018-11-05 21:24:49 UTC

@Timcast Think about Generation Z who is overwhelmingly Republican are getting within voter age.

2018-11-05 21:25:07 UTC

This is their first election.

2018-11-05 21:25:23 UTC

Dems could literally lose because they can't meme. Memes are more powerful to youth than MSM

2018-11-05 21:25:26 UTC

Not overwhelmingly, they are close to equal parts Liberal and Conservative, just moreso than previous generations

2018-11-05 21:25:27 UTC

Nate takes into account incumbent advantage. He tends to emphasize it heavily in his analysis.

2018-11-05 21:25:43 UTC

the Midterm Meme War? ๐Ÿ˜‰

2018-11-05 21:25:49 UTC

Incumbent advantage is important but it can be a double edged sword

2018-11-05 21:25:52 UTC

MEEEEEEEEEMEE WAAAAAARRRR

2018-11-05 21:26:13 UTC

thanks to Trumps economy, rep incumbents have a major advantage i think

2018-11-05 21:26:17 UTC

all we know fore sure is that the democratic party has completely lost the populist movement for generations to come

2018-11-05 21:26:17 UTC

who's a veteran of a thousand psychic wars?

2018-11-05 21:26:25 UTC

me

2018-11-05 21:26:33 UTC

Not quite wood

2018-11-05 21:26:40 UTC

They're courting minorities like never before

2018-11-05 21:26:41 UTC

Being their first election... this will be interesting.

2018-11-05 21:26:45 UTC

Memes. Pfft. As if they actually matter. Memes mean nothing!

But while we are discussing elections, I need to talk to all my fellow democratic men about something important.

Guys, you need to not vote.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dq4BYoCWoAAwkU7.jpg

2018-11-05 21:26:57 UTC

I still find that hilarious.

2018-11-05 21:27:06 UTC

Too bad Twitter didn't. It was an obvious joke.

2018-11-05 21:27:44 UTC

Seriously, who actually think Memes do anything?
So guys... Stop voting if you're a democrat. Seriously. Stop.

2018-11-05 21:27:52 UTC

the old-guard Reps lost the youth vote with bush in 2000 and 2004

It takes only 1 person to bring faith into another party as Trump has shown

2018-11-05 21:28:05 UTC

That is just nuts.

2018-11-05 21:28:16 UTC

They actually be loosing their vote.

2018-11-05 21:28:19 UTC

Keep spreading it far and wide though

2018-11-05 21:28:20 UTC

Votes^

2018-11-05 21:28:23 UTC

doesn't Gen Z start at 1995? If so, this is their second election

2018-11-05 21:28:33 UTC

Gen Z is 1995 - 2005

2018-11-05 21:28:35 UTC

Yea, Z starts in 95 and ends in 2005

2018-11-05 21:28:40 UTC

so some have second, some have first

2018-11-05 21:28:52 UTC

Born between those.

2018-11-05 21:28:58 UTC

I'm a millenial ๐Ÿ˜ญ

2018-11-05 21:29:03 UTC

( @Dusty Morgan pro-tip, that's the point. This was a meme created by /pol/ to make fun of democrats and their NPC/SJW agenda.)

2018-11-05 21:29:03 UTC

Hell yea wol

2018-11-05 21:29:47 UTC

2018-11-05 21:30:01 UTC

2018-11-05 21:30:06 UTC

your avocado made me racist

2018-11-05 21:30:08 UTC

Hey guys... keep eyes on Leftist media.

2018-11-05 21:30:13 UTC

Let's record some more melt downs.

2018-11-05 21:30:14 UTC

No

2018-11-05 21:30:15 UTC

some of the oldest Gen-Z are 1995

2018-11-05 21:30:39 UTC

Just wait for the TyT supercut

2018-11-05 21:30:49 UTC

Generation Z is the wildcard in this election.

2018-11-05 21:30:57 UTC

It makes it really exciting

2018-11-05 21:31:07 UTC

Not Millennials or Boomers... it is generation Z we got to keep a eye on.

2018-11-05 21:31:37 UTC

Generation Z, the "Mass Shooting Generation"

2018-11-05 21:31:50 UTC

I consider myself more Gen-Z but with some millennial influence

2018-11-05 21:31:55 UTC

eeew

2018-11-05 21:31:56 UTC

a youngling

2018-11-05 21:32:07 UTC

Almost everyone in Timcast's comments is saying Republicans.

2018-11-05 21:32:09 UTC

XD

2018-11-05 21:32:10 UTC

My siblings are mostly Gen-Z though

2018-11-05 21:32:28 UTC

its no longer hip and cool to be rep, everyone is rep

2018-11-05 21:32:31 UTC

It would be more republican leaning though, remember that the democrats are often in their own echo chambers and rarely leave them

2018-11-05 21:32:37 UTC

ima switch over and be a democrat again

2018-11-05 21:32:39 UTC

I was born like at the start of the Millennials start.

2018-11-05 21:32:46 UTC

My younger sister actually is more relatable to millennials than I am I think. But my younger bro is for sure Gen-Z

2018-11-05 21:33:04 UTC

y'all racist hicks!

2018-11-05 21:33:11 UTC

๐Ÿ˜›

2018-11-05 21:33:15 UTC

my siblings are definitely gen z and dead set on Republican

2018-11-05 21:33:23 UTC

My younger bro is definitely hardcore repub

2018-11-05 21:33:26 UTC

I think the other thing starting to benefit republicans is the recent turning in on themselves of the NPCs. They keep being told who to hate and they've started attacking themselves. That's disheartening them and breaking their conviction. So even those that still support the cause in spirit are quickly losing their will to support the cause in action, which may diminish their vote.

2018-11-05 21:33:35 UTC

Not sure if he registered though

2018-11-05 21:33:39 UTC

@Dr.Wol If we find you heart do you tt uuurrrkkk

2018-11-05 21:33:47 UTC

Democrats only have Millennials if you think about it. Older generation votes Republican, Millennials vote Democrat, and Generation Z will vote Republican.

2018-11-05 21:33:47 UTC

Racists.

2018-11-05 21:33:52 UTC

Shitpost prize to the doctor for that comment

2018-11-05 21:33:58 UTC

nah dusty

2018-11-05 21:34:06 UTC

That doesn't include the fact that Millennials as they age, start to lean Republican.

2018-11-05 21:34:12 UTC

the SJW's of the last 40 years, the colorlings

2018-11-05 21:34:15 UTC

and the wamen'

2018-11-05 21:34:16 UTC

Unless they are Hardcore SJWs

2018-11-05 21:34:18 UTC

all vote dem

2018-11-05 21:34:36 UTC

Dems rely on identity politics and voting blocks

2018-11-05 21:34:38 UTC

@Dusty Morgan Do they? the Poli sci journals indicate political positions tend to be very fixed. And they have data behind that.

2018-11-05 21:35:00 UTC

#walkaway though the ones that realized that they weren't getting anything they were promised from Dems

2018-11-05 21:35:06 UTC

as well as the Bernie people

2018-11-05 21:35:06 UTC

So we are going to rely on these polls?

2018-11-05 21:35:08 UTC

the socialists

2018-11-05 21:35:14 UTC

This is how bacon is supposed to be

2018-11-05 21:35:18 UTC

After they been proven wrong numorous times this past 3 years?

2018-11-05 21:35:24 UTC

the fries they blend so perfectly

2018-11-05 21:35:28 UTC

Don't underestimate your foe Dusty

2018-11-05 21:35:37 UTC

Not estimating...

2018-11-05 21:35:42 UTC

Wait what's going on?

2018-11-05 21:35:44 UTC

a trapped animal is most dangerous

2018-11-05 21:35:44 UTC

If we believe the polls, the polls can influence us to vote or not.

2018-11-05 21:35:50 UTC

the polls are wrong

2018-11-05 21:35:55 UTC

use uncommon sense ๐Ÿ˜„

2018-11-05 21:35:57 UTC

are we going into food porn?

2018-11-05 21:36:06 UTC

If you don't believe the polls, you will vote regardless what they say, meaning higher chance you will turn out.

2018-11-05 21:36:08 UTC

i'd say common sense, but well, "common sense" equals "REEEEE" now

2018-11-05 21:36:11 UTC

Its likely that many democrats do feel trapped

2018-11-05 21:36:15 UTC

Majority of United States lost any trust in the polls.

2018-11-05 21:36:24 UTC

Dems didn't

2018-11-05 21:36:25 UTC

Only people who use Polls are the Media and Corporations.

2018-11-05 21:36:29 UTC

@Dusty Morgan It really shouldn't. You should vote regardless of the polls. Polls are just for fun. Facts don't care about popular opinion.

2018-11-05 21:36:30 UTC

They probably think that everything they've been working for is being turned back

2018-11-05 21:36:31 UTC

Democrats too.

2018-11-05 21:36:55 UTC

Democrats believe in the polls,

Trust me, its gonna be like 2016

2018-11-05 21:36:58 UTC

and when they lose again

2018-11-05 21:37:07 UTC

they'll have the same reaction "I'm not wrong, REALITY IS WRONG"

2018-11-05 21:37:12 UTC

and they'll riot again

2018-11-05 21:37:34 UTC

Russian bots coming out in droves to vote

2018-11-05 21:37:36 UTC

It is videos like this from Walkaway that give me very real sense of change.

2018-11-05 21:37:38 UTC

Big change.

2018-11-05 21:38:01 UTC

unless you saw a few million videos, you can't trust the numbers of Walkaway people

2018-11-05 21:38:02 UTC

This is just tiny minority, how many do it without declaring #walkaway?

2018-11-05 21:38:15 UTC

How many are secretly voting Red?

2018-11-05 21:38:30 UTC

Most fear backlash from their democrat friends.

2018-11-05 21:38:31 UTC

That doesn't really matter,

IF they all vote red in the same state, you can still end up losing another

2018-11-05 21:38:35 UTC

So they won't announce it.

2018-11-05 21:38:45 UTC

i agree

2018-11-05 21:38:53 UTC

There is a secret voter base for Republicans.

2018-11-05 21:38:55 UTC

peoople who say "I'm not sure" vote rep ๐Ÿ˜‰

2018-11-05 21:38:57 UTC

If 40k switch though, that is a shift of 80k

2018-11-05 21:39:00 UTC

Due to Democrats backlash against Republicans.

2018-11-05 21:39:08 UTC

provided they all vote yes

2018-11-05 21:39:09 UTC

This is what going to be wild about this election.

2018-11-05 21:39:22 UTC

I do hope for all our sakes Reps win

2018-11-05 21:39:31 UTC

IF america is strong, EU will bend the knee and maybe stop this INsanity ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

2018-11-05 21:39:35 UTC

Some will switch from Repub though to vote against Trump

2018-11-05 21:40:00 UTC

I don't wanna die by migrant-itis ๐Ÿ˜ญ

2018-11-05 21:40:02 UTC

Secret Republican voter base, Generation Z coming into Voting Age, Republicans are Energized, Minorities leaving Democrat party in droves, and #walkway Bringing Democrats to Republicans.

2018-11-05 21:40:19 UTC

This is what I been seeing.

2018-11-05 21:40:23 UTC

keep in mind

2018-11-05 21:40:26 UTC

a lot of those also Overlap

2018-11-05 21:40:30 UTC

These are the people that isn't talked about.

2018-11-05 21:40:40 UTC

These are the voter base that will come quickly and hard.

2018-11-05 21:40:51 UTC

Dems got money though

2018-11-05 21:40:55 UTC

Minorities leavign democrats ARE in the same branch as Walkaway

2018-11-05 21:41:04 UTC

Dems don't got money, wasn't the DNC broke in 2016?

2018-11-05 21:41:14 UTC

Yes they were, they are getting donations from wealthy leftists.

2018-11-05 21:41:15 UTC

they only carried along cuz of funding from Hillary

2018-11-05 21:41:28 UTC

It was the deal

2018-11-05 21:41:30 UTC

George Soros is one of those wealthy elites.

2018-11-05 21:41:38 UTC

Hillary would be the nominee, and she'd fund the DNC

2018-11-05 21:41:46 UTC

Soros is a non-issue

2018-11-05 21:42:07 UTC

a boogieman

2018-11-05 21:43:32 UTC

@Timcast There is many voting blocks that are not counted. Generation Z coming into voting age, Secret Republican Voting Base (Democrat Backlash from Friends,) Minorities and longtime democrats walking away from Democrat party, and Republicans Energized like never seen before on top of that. I take all these into account. I think Republicans are going to sweep the house and senate.

2018-11-05 21:43:43 UTC

w00t! The joy of living in a "safe" voting district: I actually got to speak to the guy probably going to lose for a good deal of time today.

2018-11-05 21:43:56 UTC

Are you taking into account overlap in those blocks dusty?

2018-11-05 21:44:00 UTC

Republicans vote later in the day, they tend to vote late.

2018-11-05 21:44:04 UTC

Yeah.... they overlap.

2018-11-05 21:44:09 UTC

But they will wait till the last moment too.

2018-11-05 21:44:22 UTC

i thought Democrats vote later in the day

2018-11-05 21:44:33 UTC

Not really.... Republicans do. Democrats tend to vote early.

2018-11-05 21:44:38 UTC

oh

2018-11-05 21:44:39 UTC

Because the youth vote early.

2018-11-05 21:44:41 UTC

i got those mixed up then

2018-11-05 21:44:53 UTC

Old people work

2018-11-05 21:44:55 UTC

I thought it was Reps voting early, and dems voting late

2018-11-05 21:45:04 UTC

Only reason we have Republicans voting early, is because of the energized base and the fact we are gaining new youth voters in Republican side.

2018-11-05 21:45:17 UTC

as well as patriots

2018-11-05 21:45:42 UTC

Those who walkaway and those who are secret republican voters will vote late.

2018-11-05 21:45:56 UTC

Plus the older generation will vote late too.

2018-11-05 21:46:06 UTC

They tend to wait for election day.

2018-11-05 21:47:25 UTC

Of course the wealthy elites will be backing Democrats.

2018-11-05 21:47:28 UTC

Doesn't surprise me.

2018-11-05 21:48:10 UTC

I really wonder when that flip was made... weren't the republicans supposed to be the party of the rich elites?

2018-11-05 21:48:36 UTC

when the age of social media started

2018-11-05 21:48:41 UTC

^

2018-11-05 21:48:50 UTC

When both parties started bidding for the money.

2018-11-05 21:48:55 UTC

Reps are the party of produce elites
Dems are the party of multimedia elites

2018-11-05 21:49:09 UTC

basically, Oil vs Internet ๐Ÿ˜„

2018-11-05 21:49:12 UTC

The same reason why Colorado flipped dems, rich locals meddling in politics

2018-11-05 21:49:17 UTC

Rich elites back both sides

2018-11-05 21:49:28 UTC

Rich back whichever side gives them the most benefits

2018-11-05 21:49:46 UTC

2018-11-05 21:49:58 UTC

2018-11-05 21:51:19 UTC

Trump is endangering Wall-street with his pro-free market approach ๐Ÿ˜„

2018-11-05 21:52:01 UTC

The article says Wall Street is really looking to fund moderate Democrats.

2018-11-05 21:52:25 UTC

But the nutty progressives probably aren't fond of their new allies.

2018-11-05 21:52:31 UTC

Or they're blind to the whole thing.

2018-11-05 21:58:38 UTC

@ExceptionalFeather Securities as in the people who were trading derivatives back in '07. The guys who work Wall Street not by trading stock but by trading "financial products"

Though the military Industrial complex favored Hillary in 2016 and I haven't seen anything telling me it changed (or stayed the same for that matter)
