Making Thanos a Malthusian felt a lot like dumbing down the premise of the Matrix to make humans an energy resource instead of a computing resource.

Thanos Quest is actually one of my all-time favorite comics series so I know exactly how much Thanos was dumbed down.

the reason those characters worked in Infijnity Gauntelt is because cosmic marvel had already been established for decades

he is the one thing i am hoping for in the purchased MCU now, the surfer

as of now Thanos is our most powerful character. Soon to be captain marvel.
