the EU is falling apart as it is, even if Brexit gets screwed up, the SJW nonsense they've been pushing this whole time and the damage they've done to themselves with unlimited migration is already done. The commoners who actually have had to directly suffer it all are the ones who are currently a few steps shy of open revolt, and why so many nations are getting this sudden hard swing to "the alt right" (which is actually just barely right wing at all, they're more centerist usually, with a few oddball exceptions).

The problem is that the left realizes they're their own worst enemy. The public hates the extreme left and would gladly watch them all burn in a fire. So the only way they can justify themselves is to manufacture a bad guy who is worse than they are.
It's Syndrome from The Incredibles. At some point, they did want to fight to be a hero and for the good of all. Then times changed, villains were no longer a thing, the heroes went away. But Syndrome still wants to be a Hero, except now the only way to do it is to create a new bad guy. Someone who is, in the public eye, worse than he is.
But didn't you know, the SJWs want to have themselves reclassified as veterans so they can get veteran benefits. The minute that happens, they'll start screeching that veterans don't have enough benefits.

The problem is that would be a blatant lie and they'd be called out on it. I saw this story earlier and it came from a DNC member, who was discovered to have done it from her offices, and when someone contacted her and asked her about it, she specifically said that they had to talk to her boss who told her to do it.
by keeping the details as vague as possible, you can just make it out to be "well this was bad" without framing it.
It's like how many EU and UK police reports are no longer allowed to say if the criminals were migrants anymore. The fact the crime rate is through the roof is undeniable, but the MSM/Left found this as a neat loophole that it can get reported on now, without making it look like the migrants are constantly the troublemakers and it was a terrible idea to bring so many into their countries without restrictions.

both parties are terrible. the problem is with the US's hardcoded 2 party system, we don't have any other options available.
until a new party emerges that has a legitimate chance, we're stuck. But the minute a legitimate 3rd party shows up and just says "Hey, we're not crazy, we're in the middle, vote us." they'll suddenly win by such huge landslides that it will destroy both existing parties. Or at least, their current existance. It'll cause them to start shunning extremists and go closer to center themselves to stand a chance... or die off entirely.
EITHER party would win without question if they shunned their extremists and took a more classic american values/center position. Go back to encouraging freedom of speech, and having police rightly arrest rioters that are destroying private property. The basics. Most of the other points they stand for won't even matter, just to get back to core values of basic sanity.

It's like how feminists hate all women. That's why they wanted Grid Girls banned from F1, cheerleaders banned from NFL, and sharia law, which says a woman is only worth 2/3 of a man in court, to become the law of the nation and all women to be forced to wear a hijab, through their unrelenting support of islam.

Sit back and watch the mess.

... here's an idea. How about my same idea, but make it really fucking obvious it's a pressurized container. Like ... have some of those carts you walk around town with, and a neat glass window on front, and make it very visible that there's stuff inside bouncing around and doing things. Then when the lefties smash it (because they're stupid), you really can just say "uhm... they knew it had airflow inside, they smashed it anyhow... can you really blame me for this?"

There are certain lines you that society can tolerate in fair punishment of children. Giving a kid a spanking would fix a lot of the brats in modern society, and as long as done within reason, it never ruined the older generations.
