Once the other candidate lost, they weren't talked about as much as Hillary is. And not just in the attention she seeks out for herself.
I find people CONSTANTLY humor the conversation "Can you imagine if she'd won instead?"
I see relief I've never seen before.
well, she is the worst thing that's almost happened to our country in recent history
And she almost got in, because woman.
That spooks the hell out of me.
Well, also because a lot of people hate Trump
Not so much they hate Trump, they hate the CRTL-Left myth of Trump
Trump was the only one who could've beaten her.
There's a considerable number of people who saw it as a single candidate election. They didn't even consider Trump to be a viable optipn
I like Ted Cruz.
And not really, a lot of people hate the things he actually said and promoted too
But he doesn't... do what needed doing.
I know a few reluctant Trump voters who liked Cruz better
Cruz crushed Bernie in a debate.
But that was military-grade mudslinging attacking him.
Tbh Bernie crushed Bernie in that debate
Hillary's horseshit only had one viable opponent.
If you're talking about the hair salon one
Yea.
A black woman not even running for office beat Bernie
is beto going to beat cruz?
๐
It was a team effort.
Ted Cruz and the audience.
Bernie would have been a viable Dem candidate (not against Trump, just the primaries) if he hadn't been sabotaged
I think he would have lost harder against Trump than Hillary though
I just see a lot of Bernie's failures as own-goal'ing
"Your company should go bankrupt because you don't pay for healthcare"
If you ask him questions, and he has no fire escape away from the questions, there's no way Bernie can't own-goal.
Honest answers from a socialist, destroy them.
I talked to a lot of people who voted for Trump, they saw Hillary as another 4 years (Atleast) of Obama, and Obama screwed them over.
do you even sleep Miss? you have been on here for the last 24 hours straight ๐ค
The immediate sound of SHOCK from the first guy that asked a question when getting a response from Bernie.
Obama only survived politically due to propaganda tbh
"It's really hard owning a business. Let me explain several reasons why."
He went there, looking for sanity.
And as soon as Bernie opened his mouth, that guy went "--GRGGKKH..."
What did people vote Obama in for:
Closing Gitmo
Ending the war and bringing the troops home
Ending the surveillance state
Medical coverage and reform
Of which he completed the following:
gave guns to mexican gangs
Dude grew the surveillance state, solidified Gitmo and destabilized extra countries
And the ACA was a mess and fucked people over
ACA is just the perfect SJW scenario,
It doesnt work, someone else paid for it, but we like it so its okay,
Like how with games, they made it boring, but atleast its not racist, and they still don't buy it
its how you feel about it that matters
People who haven't seen this should watch for... let's say 2 or so minutes?
Until you get the point.
I knew of this debate before I knew of Tim, or his affection for Bernie.
Said affection has always.. surprised me in light of this.
This debate was hard to find aside from Crowder's upload.
And the reason I say Ted Cruz crushed, is because he's pretty much the Anti-Bernie to this woman.
"Your story is VERY COMMON now. It's a problem and its endemic."
I'm paraphrasing.
socialism is like coming up with a hypothesis, and testing the data until it fits said hypothesis, even though you have no idea how to do so
had a different subject
and actaully, I'm somewhat for socialized healthcare, I do wish we could figure out a way to pay for it
because I don't think peopel should go broke because they get sick and/or unlucky
i've seen it too many times and while I know it has it's own problems, I actually would like to see a feasible socialized health care
I'm also for the alterative, making it so damn cheap that everyone can easily afford it through capitalism
either way
I was gonna say, you're going to have to drop the price either way
yup
and I do believe its artificially high right now
due to lack of negotiation
I've completely forgotten this, but.
lack of ability to negotiate I should say
What is it that's caused the medical costs to go through the roof?
I also want Drs to be able to make money
many reasons
... The most disappointing answer of all.
at least in the US
its not just one thing
?
Well you didn't list the things..
do I have to?
I mean its pretty standard reasons
High cost of entry to become a doctor is one
Okay but
I've forgotten the standard reasons.
for-profit insurance, lack of competition, for-profit drug companies, for-profit education for drs, for-profit student loan companies (and btw I'm a capitalist, I just think most of the costs of obfuscated so not easy to compete)
Patients pay the bill ultimately for doctors going to school
Dirty tactics by insurance in general
insruance meanting health insurance and malpractice
hospitals charge different rates and many times you can't just "shop around" because the billing codes are "hidden" unless you know how to navigate the beauracracy
and that's just for starters
and again, I'm for competition and not for socialism, but that's not what we're talking about here
Ah, one more thing I can blame the colleges for.
I want these companies to be able to make money to provide a service
Seriously what the shit are we doing.
High dependency on doctors, one could point to insurance as part of it. Creates the thought process that if I am paying for it I might as well use it, causing high demand on a low supply of medical attention naturally raising prices
again, it's not just one thing
and it's spiraled
so people instinctively want to go the opposite way
to the extreme
Let me put it this way, how much should a Doctor make?
you know, I commend Bernie for actually sticking to his principle rather than being an Obama or hillary and try and give a non=answer
I'm in no way going to ever say we should limits someone's salary
he was pretty straight forward: People need healthcare, they most get it from their job, if you can't figure out how to offer it, you should not be offering people jobs.
the whole healthcare tied to job is wrong, imo
