2018-09-22 07:24:00 UTC

I was became curious about electrical because its proximity to what I already do now

2018-09-22 07:24:18 UTC

Welding is literally just creating an arc.

2018-09-22 07:24:26 UTC

I've been contracting since end of school, never worked a full time job

2018-09-22 07:24:52 UTC

FT "pro" job, that is

2018-09-22 07:25:34 UTC

That's really cool. You could probably repair/service welding machines. Too many workshops just throw them out.

2018-09-22 07:25:53 UTC

If you become a sparky, that is.

2018-09-22 07:30:15 UTC

"soldering" is pretty much welding right?

2018-09-22 07:31:02 UTC

I guess so.

2018-09-22 07:31:17 UTC

Different materials and temperatures, though.

2018-09-22 07:32:43 UTC

Soldering obviously doesn't bring the parent materials to melting point, though, whereas you're dealing with actual molten metal with welding.

2018-09-22 07:32:45 UTC

I see

2018-09-22 07:34:04 UTC

yeah soldering is a skill I want to pick up for my iOT projects

2018-09-22 07:34:16 UTC

thx for the info, gonna do some lookin

2018-09-22 07:34:39 UTC

2018-09-22 07:37:22 UTC

2018-09-22 07:38:56 UTC

2018-09-22 08:00:37 UTC

Maybe they aren't being wagecucked

2018-09-22 08:01:32 UTC

i would say 90 percent of US population lives paycheck to paycheck tho, unless your riding the cock carousal @Silveru

2018-09-22 08:02:52 UTC

In order to not live paycheck to paycheck, you have to live a Different lifestyle, be Far Above average, or make a Deal with the Devil.

2018-09-22 08:03:19 UTC

You Could Go live in the Forest, Thats One Way @Silveru ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

2018-09-22 08:11:47 UTC

Detach from your things, then you can start to stop getting wagecucked

2018-09-22 08:12:13 UTC

move somewhere with job-prospects, go hard for three years and then reap good wage for a long time

2018-09-22 08:12:32 UTC

Its not just that tho, if you live in San Francisco , Your Pretty Much Fucked , ( you Might as well move )

2018-09-22 08:13:08 UTC

I don't know how old you are, but nowadays i wouldnt recommend you to go to college anymore

2018-09-22 08:13:53 UTC

Blue-Collar jobs have much better future at the moment, cause all the millenials don't want to work them

2018-09-22 08:14:04 UTC

Most People on this Discord are either done with college or are in their 30's or older

2018-09-22 08:14:44 UTC

Stay with your parents as long as you can.

2018-09-22 08:14:50 UTC

Easiest way to save up.

2018-09-22 08:15:04 UTC

Zero expenses.

2018-09-22 08:15:15 UTC

Parents Are the Root of all Suffering,

2018-09-22 08:15:33 UTC

What do you mean?

2018-09-22 08:17:05 UTC

Depends on How your Raised , But ALL of your Issues Come from Being Born, you Either Man Up, or Drown. ( Mgtow or Die )

2018-09-22 08:17:57 UTC

I think it's suffering in a dysfunctional household if it means saving up.

2018-09-22 08:18:32 UTC

You're working all day and you're sleeping a decent amount too.

2018-09-22 08:18:56 UTC

You barely spend any time with your family members anyway.

2018-09-22 08:18:59 UTC

Making your happiness depend on your parents makes you as dependent as with women

2018-09-22 08:19:29 UTC

i would prefer family before women any time though

2018-09-22 08:23:10 UTC

I didn't get that, @Mysteriedingens.

2018-09-22 08:24:48 UTC

Living with your parents creates a dependency to some degree. There are some quite possesive parents out there. Sometimes it can dwell on your creativity and productivity to hold against that.

2018-09-22 08:25:41 UTC

It doesn't create dependency. You're just taking advantage of resources at hand.

2018-09-22 08:26:32 UTC

Wheres the E harmony for Roomates / Substitute Families ,

2018-09-22 08:27:44 UTC

Personally, i live a more productive life if i am in the apartment with my roommate. It depends on the family situation overall.

2018-09-22 08:29:21 UTC

If your parents have no intention of kicking you out of home, why should you waste your hard earned money on food and rent when you could save up for a property?

2018-09-22 08:29:48 UTC

I'm sure you are more productive, but you lose out in other areas.

2018-09-22 08:29:59 UTC

Pros and cons to everything.

2018-09-22 08:29:59 UTC

This Is True, But some families are soo toxic its worth moving out.

2018-09-22 08:30:16 UTC

The thing is tradesman my parents get child support for having me. 180โ‚ฌ/month

2018-09-22 08:30:30 UTC

My rent is 220โ‚ฌ month when i live with my roommate

2018-09-22 08:30:35 UTC

Your Parents used you???

2018-09-22 08:30:51 UTC

Nah, its support from the government in general

2018-09-22 08:31:35 UTC

Your parents get that 220 even after you're 18?

2018-09-22 08:31:45 UTC

Do you think ur parents were ever like : Well Our Son Can Stay for another month, ( we got our Gov paycheck)

2018-09-22 08:32:32 UTC

Government pays child support until you finished school and job education or when you reached 25

2018-09-22 08:32:42 UTC

DAMN, thats op

2018-09-22 08:32:42 UTC

That's fucked.

2018-09-22 08:33:03 UTC

How much income tax do you pay?

2018-09-22 08:33:33 UTC

For the moment zero

2018-09-22 08:33:44 UTC

i pay for insurance and rent only at the moment

2018-09-22 08:34:04 UTC

because i am still in my traineeship

2018-09-22 08:34:21 UTC

@Mysteriedingens do you plan on having kids

2018-09-22 08:34:21 UTC

Rightio.

2018-09-22 08:34:40 UTC

@ZODD not before the age of 35

2018-09-22 08:34:49 UTC

i see

2018-09-22 08:35:59 UTC

@The Tradesman That are measures made by the government to push up the native birth rates aswell as the creation of new companies

2018-09-22 08:36:13 UTC

next to my workplace a so called "makerspace" was opened recently.

2018-09-22 08:36:24 UTC

New Companies ?? how does that work?

2018-09-22 08:36:48 UTC

you can use 3d printers, cnc-cutters and alot of crafting stations for free

2018-09-22 08:37:05 UTC

the world is over populated with Thots and Idiots IMO

2018-09-22 08:37:52 UTC

it usually works in combination with governemnt funds that supports the first steps in the ( never ending ) document-work you have to do in germany to create a company

2018-09-22 08:38:44 UTC

Oh you Live in Germany, i want to Visit there sometime

2018-09-22 08:39:04 UTC

Especially digital companies are getting good Tax-support because germany wants the next "Google"-type of company originating from Germany. But with our harsh privacy laws in the internet i guarantee that will not be the case.

2018-09-22 08:39:44 UTC

That's really conflicting when you have like Tutanota from Germany.

2018-09-22 08:41:10 UTC

isn't that like a mail program?

2018-09-22 08:41:28 UTC

It is.

2018-09-22 08:41:58 UTC

It's actually really good too.

2018-09-22 08:42:31 UTC

I mean yea, when it come to security in web applications Germany definitely shows qualities

2018-09-22 08:43:14 UTC

But for the distribution of new Ideas, especially concering Augmented Reality and Innovations for the world-market the data-privacy-regulations speed down the process of development pretty hard

2018-09-22 08:43:59 UTC

basically you can't collect any data of any user without letting them know explicitly what it is.

2018-09-22 08:46:44 UTC

It still seems suspect.

2018-09-22 12:24:50 UTC

I belive that we man need to be oppurtunistic

2018-09-22 12:25:13 UTC

And use everything in our power to grow

2018-09-22 12:25:22 UTC

Both in mind and body

2018-09-22 12:25:35 UTC

And find options to earn money

2018-09-22 13:20:36 UTC
2018-09-22 23:40:43 UTC

i'll be chilling with tfm tonight at 7pm pst and might do a stream after that if im not tired, just got off work

2018-09-22 23:41:11 UTC

also working on a streaming schedule and daily content (to the best of my ability) and the video game

2018-09-23 00:14:20 UTC

@Mysteriedingens You work as a software engineer or in application security?

2018-09-23 00:17:09 UTC

(US Specific) Outside of 401k, HSA, and IRA (after $73k switch from traditional to roth); are there any vehicles one can use to reduce tax liability? I know I could start my own company under my SSN (instead of EIN) and open a SEP IRA. I know annuities and life insurance products *can* be used but they're more susceptible to be changed by government policy and have much higher fees, also aren't as liquid. I know if I worked for federal/state/local government there would be pensions and other possibilities but let's assume a private civilian for this question.

2018-09-23 00:17:31 UTC
