Imagine if we had every single director on this page. Once @Sam MN leaves my place in the next two weeks he is dedicating his life to building a network in Iowa. He can then attack SD and Northern IL with me (which is growing rapidly again). Western MO will be the next Mid-West network after you. Then either IA or IN. Hopefully IN but it needs a badass leader.
We need a leadership change or rework up in MN sadly.
It's there duty to build up ND and WI
I am a very visual person, so that map really engaged my mind.
Yes I have suspected as much in MN for a while. Its unfortunate.
I think that @Michael IN is currently the best candidate because I don't believe that @Adam IN has the right type of confidence for network directorship. I think that @Michael IN is beginning to take to it. He seemed a lot more confident when I spoke with him at DC, and even how he acts on rc has improved.
I'm glad to hear that things are going well for @Sam MN . When he told me that he got kicked out I felt very bad for him.
Yes I agree on your assessment that Adam isn't the man. The reason I told him to go for it if it wants the position was simply to build a competition.
Makes sense.
Remember that the moral position is and always will be the end goal of a powerful Midwest.
It's power will come from the close brotherly bonds of the leaders, then in turn the men within each body.
That's why I'm trying to find these men and become close with them, build them up, and send them forward into the position.
Since my only goal is for the greater Midwest there should be no doubts in my reasoning, this is why Thomas trusts me for this.
I think you're doing an excellent job of fulfilling the not yet created role of "regional director."
Hahaha
The truth?
I just want a really big Mid-West hike super party bash
(tm)
Yes of course, can I have fun for once?????
Just kidding.
When you act silly thats how I know you're trying to be humble, and I appreciate it. Its true though, your goals are largely centered on a more strategic level than almost any ND. Maybe a better term would be operational?
Strategy= national (Thomas and his national leadership guys)
Operational= regions like the midwest.
Tactical= networks/clusters.
You're working on the operational and tactical level. Its something I've thought about myself, but you have done a better job of actually getting there. That is a large part of why I respect your advice so much and seek to learn from you.
Ok here is my real reasoning. When I was a young man many terrible things happened to me. These things stemmed from non-whites who held power over my head and used force. Innocence was robbed, and this cannot be given back. When I look at young men across the heartland I see this innocence removed, everywhere. Soulless and given into drugs to fill this hole - it disturbs me to an extreme degree. Innocence must be protected at all costs, the innocence of nature and childhood mainly. The only way to protect these children or kids is to enfore innocence to be protected. This is my real goa.
I think thats a goal every man in PF shares or at least should share.
Well then the creation of this super confederation of Mid-Western states is inevitable. I hope to speed it up x10.
Yes it's strategical I'd say.
I've been getting so far into it that tons of power has been handed off to @Randolph IL recently in the network.
As do I. I'm all for the national cause, and I will never not tow the party line of PF, but I think it is very important to engage in healthy regionalism. Its both pragmatic and part of the nation which we as an organization represent. That's part of why I am planning this Toledo War memorial event with @ND - Ryan OH . Its a super small version of a civil war for the Midwest. Specifically between Michigan and Ohio of course. We will essentially be parroting the "mending the bonds of the civil war, north south unity" idea but for our two states. I think pursuing events that tie states together like that are a great idea.
This is part of why I will ensure that every member of Michigan will attend your second Midwest hike in the Ozarks. I want that event to be a coming together of the most distant Midwestern states into one place to share in our common cause to see the Heartland triumph.
Yes exactly. Hope to have some small events along with other networks, it's awesome you're having something like that. Ahead of the curve my friend.
Its actually something I've had in the back of my head for several months. I wanted to wait until MI had a larger number of guys.
I'm finally heading off to bed now though, so goodnight :thumbup:
Take care.
