Make sure fingers are clear in box truck.
Medical condition card, place in a uniform place?
Water in boxtrucks, include in event fee?
Camelback and water bottles
White vest

-Training Priorities
1) Wilderness - cheap and througough, applicable
2) BLS training
3) Wilderness First Responder
4) Red Cross First Aid

Samuel NJ - has boyscout first aid books
Jesse CO - Has Wilderness First Responder Books

At some point make our own curriculum

Response from Thomas:
Evac Car:
We won't be able to have one follow us, roads will be too crowded and parking too limited. However, we can have one stationed at the mid point of the march to be ready in case. Maybe give three potential parking spots to vary between. Have any candidates in mind? I can find someone.

Medics will be on the side, behind screening shield teams. Standard march. Only breaking formation in event of need.

There will be water. Extra is always good.

Getting those mesh holsters for water bottles is a very important thing.

We need 4 medics who aren't already doing other things.

Medic meeting tomorrow, November 17th 8pm CST

@all

Looking at my schedule, I actually have another meeting at that time. Does movining it up to 7pm CST hurt anyone @all

Please reply with a Chevron when you've read this message.

Adam PA @PF-628655

I will still be at work at that time tomorrow.

Adam PA @PF-628655

I should specify, “that time” being 7pm CST. I’ll try to get out a little early.

We can adjust the time if we need to

Mark MO @PF-731400

I'm working overtime tommarow, but I'll try to make it.

Samuel NJ @PF-969530

I am available whenever the meeting is tomorrow

If we moved this to 9 pm CST instead, would you guys be able to make that time?

Adam IN @PF-692415

Yes I would

@Adam PA Would this help with work?

@all I apologize about moving around times so much, but it seems that 9 pm CST will work for most people. See y'all there

Adam PA @PF-628655

@PC - Jesse CO Definitely

Mark MO @PF-731400

Sorry guys, I'll have to miss this meeting, things didn't go as planed at work today.

Steven OH @PF-815180

:PF-Red: Primary goal is to establish 4 medics where this is their exclusive role. Do this based on experience and how complete their medkit is.

Adam IN: No Medic Kit Yet, Ordering premade and torquinet. CANNOT BE PRIMARY MEDIC
Steven OH: Everythin but trauma sheers and foldable stretcher. Primary Medic?
Mark MO: Most of the kit is complete. Ordering backpack and bandages soon. Primary Medic?
Samuel NJ: Has most items. Taking inventory. Primary Medic?
Adam PA - yes most of it - Primary Medic?
Steven TX - full kit - Primary Medic?
Jesse CO - most of it, rest is ordered - Already has role
Adam IN - Don't have any. Can get some stuff - Aux Medic

These are only suggestions for medic primaries. Some people may have other roles such as shieldbearer or phtographer, and will be auxiliary.

Mark MO @PF-731400

I don't believe my medical knowledge is anywhere near a primary medic role.

Thomas @thomas

@Mark MO The best four are on the team, and the pool is only so large.

Thomas @thomas

Tell us what your skillset is.

Mark MO @PF-731400

blue cross first aid training, and combat first aid a couple of years ago. I can splint an arm, and address bullet/stab wounds, as well as CPR.

Adam IN @PF-692415

@here The four primary medics that were selected are Adam PA, Mark MO, Samuel NJ, and myself. I look forward to seeing you all very soon. For people in here who are not primary medics, still bring all your medical gear, you never know what we may need extra of, or if you have something in your kit that we don't.

Adam IN @PF-692415

Also as discussed in the previous meeting, extra hand warmers, water, tylenol, trauma blankets

Thomas @thomas

@Adam IN You're the team lead for the First Aid staff. How close is everyone to being ready?

Mark MO @PF-731400

I have a few things still shipping, other than that I'm ready to go.

Mark MO @PF-731400

I have found this website to be a good resource.
