AS IN, YES OR NO
DO WE CHOOSE IDEOLOGY OR REALISM?
THIS REQUIRES US TO BE NIHILISTIC
WHICH IS WHERE EVERYONE SEEMS TO SHIT THE BED
Nihilistic as in not thinking that anything posseses any inherent value ?
CORRECT. NO INHERENT TRUTH, VALUE OR COMMUNICATION.
ONLY CHOICES
WITH DIFFERENT RESULTS
SO WE MUST CHOOSE BY RESULTS
AND NOT BY PROXY
SUCH AS IDEOLOGY (SPIT)
Nihilism with current ethical standards and people's mental health and spiritual levels
Will lead only to excess
Excess in action will lead to excess in reaction
Ask Hitler
To me, if we take Nihilism as a vehicle, the only thing you can predict is nothing but a dark and foreboding storm, a sort of confusing and bizzare cataclysm of excess and insanity
From what I have read from Brett writings, Nihilism is a path that must followed by those who can understand (similar to 'spiritual enlightenment', or plato's cave), and must not be shaped as an ideology
By now I'm certain that guy that lives above me murders people
excess seems to be a "german" things (nazism, or extreme xenophilia in 2016)
If i believe, as i do, that my actions should be purposeful to those who will remain after me, and that they are nothing but a tiny fragment in the grand order of things, the grand scheme that transcends any individual or collective agency
Seems not to serve that belief
We should not resist our purpose because "nothing makes sense", from a viewpoint that is in itself nothing but an atomized viewpoint
Not to mention how much Nihilism, as an unrestrained perspective, consumes
And we are living in an age where conservation is one of the chief concerns
when i type paul kersey in yandex it gives me that actor of once upon a time in he west if im correct
ok i found him
Paul Kersey appears to be very prolific author
He should write on Jews, lulz
Nihilism does not deny purpose, it only states that there is no inherent truth, in this case "the great order of things" is simply reality, did you read this article http://www.amerika.org/politics/faith-through-nihilism/ ?
Brett seemsto have completely then redefined what Nihilism means
he reduced nihilism to its simplest definition: "Nihilism is the belief that all values are baseless and that nothing can be known or communicated. " and then expanded everything from it
Hmmmm, people's values are not heir foundation, instead, their life experiences are foundations to their values
They do not necessarilly communicate their system of values through language at all, but through common experience which shapes the heritage they pass to their offspring
Values that you and me, as fellow cavemen developed through our fight for survival in conditions that are typical of our living space
Were not concoted in our intellectual set
But were profoundly and directly experienced and communicated
Hence preservation of our "values" which essentially means *US* as a specie, relies on protection of our heritage
That is quite different from suggesting Nihilism as a default cognitive position, which again needs to be passed in an intellectual way, which every specie will then process according to it's own heritage, which essentially means, values
I don't see how to apply it to group setting (since we are species who no matter what live as a group) besides Mafia
