When you live in a city, everything is right there. You are not forced to rely only on yourself for safety, security, and in times of emergency.

You can walk places, mass transit is usually an option, and there is no real danger from the environment itself

You don't need a gun because police are basically on every street corner, no animals, and you are more likely than not to hit a bystander. If you need help, you can call and more than likely have a few people come running

still cities have more crime though

cuz its easier to escape in a city

They don't understand what it's like to hear a bump in the night and have to wonder if it's an intruder or an animal looking to eat you. And that if you call the police, it might be half an hour before they get there or more.

City slickers probably barely know everyone on their floor, yet alone a while office building or apartment building.
