Then the Wall Street Journal published a hitpiece on him, taking all kinds of shitpost style videos out of context to make him look like a nazi. Ironically they took a video oh his saying the main stream media would take his videos out of context to smear him.... and used that video to smear him

i dono if pewds "shapes youtube", the thing is hes usually very early to any new meme, at most 2-4 days behind even if its fairly rare unheard of meme, and he puts content out there quick enough people who don't know the wiser imagine its purely his humor, but anybody watching him knows its just commentary and homage to current meme culture
