Just noting in light of one of the Tim vids: Romans 12:19 from a modern translation: "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'" I've found KJV can sound more judgmental to most people. It's not a call for violence, but rather the opposite, leaving the responsibility of vengeance to God.

I read that as letting the consequences happen to those who lead violent lives. If they associate with violence they will inevitably be the victim of violence
