maybe war time powers to kill of a bunch of laws too <:powerful:595334910764515338>

2020-03-19 14:05:55 UTC

making new laws is probably easier than getting rid of old ones

2020-03-19 14:06:03 UTC

thats why we have so many!

2020-03-19 14:10:57 UTC

wartime power would make it much more possible

<:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

2020-03-19 14:11:15 UTC

like when they talked about suspending H&S laws

2020-03-19 14:11:54 UTC

this seems like a bad time to suspend health and safety laws

2020-03-19 14:11:57 UTC

heh, lib dem and green faggotry are away

2020-03-19 14:18:23 UTC

Keep the long bow practice and shooting a scotsman laws though obviously

2020-03-19 14:19:39 UTC

Looking at the guardian, the leftists appear to be running short of things to bitch about, so they're trying to link covid to the environment crisis, and trying to whinge about all the jobs that'll go in the theatre and entertainment while trying not to make it sound like they're not only concerned about their echo chamber

2020-03-19 14:22:10 UTC

corvid has helped the environment cos its lowered chinas output of emissions

2020-03-19 14:22:21 UTC

Also they're stressing over racist terms such as "Chinese Virus"

2020-03-19 14:23:18 UTC

watching CNN go after Boris was pretty funny

2020-03-19 14:25:39 UTC

what did they do?

2020-03-19 14:27:17 UTC

so they're repeating old memes

2020-03-19 14:27:24 UTC

boomers

2020-03-19 14:30:24 UTC

thats a pretty funny edit ngl

2020-03-19 14:50:25 UTC

Crafty was already on it, Jack

2020-03-19 14:50:42 UTC

Not necessarily a good thing

2020-03-19 14:51:00 UTC

Better than Labour

2020-03-19 14:51:09 UTC

Yes, but so's aids

2020-03-19 14:51:13 UTC

And interest rates at their lowest level of all time

2020-03-19 14:51:21 UTC

Low interest rates are a bad thing

2020-03-19 14:51:39 UTC

Having a party so far ahead without competition isn't a good thing

2020-03-19 14:51:40 UTC

But we don't have to choose between AIDS and Tories

2020-03-19 14:51:47 UTC

Especially when the Tories aren't actually all that good

2020-03-19 14:52:01 UTC

I wasnt saying it was good, just reporting it

2020-03-19 14:52:08 UTC

Yes sir

2020-03-19 14:52:55 UTC

Blame Labour for the Tories being so popular

2020-03-19 14:53:07 UTC

turns out full communism isnt very popular

2020-03-19 14:53:18 UTC

wonder why 😉

2020-03-19 14:53:45 UTC

Imagine being that shit to lose votes so rapidly to the Tories

2020-03-19 14:55:14 UTC

Who arent that great either

2020-03-19 15:00:12 UTC

0.1% interest rates

2020-03-19 15:04:08 UTC

The fact that you guys think Labour was communist or even socialist based on their manifesto shows how good the hatchet job was from the media or will you deny it? When it comes to policies, Labour was offering at best centre left policies that were in line with EU countries, secondly the issue of Brexit was the main reason why voters went with Tories because when Labour offered a second referendum they were just 2% behind the tories. Unless you will argue against that. But the point remains, the medias coverage and misrepresentation of Labour and Corbyn was key and that's why the narrative of Labour and communism gets played out despite the obvious flaws in that logic.
