Ok, to be exact, they didn't have to do that with TV because there was pretty much one station
So they just appropriated it <:smugon:512048583806025739>
Imagine being so unable to comprehend media bias that you need some rando with a shit website to catalogue it so you can point and REEE whenever someone posts a link from a media group you don't like
We'll add "the difference between bailouts and welfare" to the long list of things Zoe Williams doesn't understand
Even the guardian's url is fake news "commentisfree"
gdp 0%
year, or month?
quarter
That's not terrible given the disruption
or was it last q of 2019?
I'm still enjoying all the salt from townies protesting on Twatter about being banned from driving out to the countryside for their walks
It's a gift that keeps on giving
Just watched Sargon's latest video complaining about government implementing extreme measures, and I'm a little surprised tbh. Government needs to legally back police actions. We've been watching our politics become an absolute circus, and we've been laughing all the way to this disaster. And now we've got this. I guess we should have taken politics more seriously and figure out our part of responsability in creating this environment, instead of crying "authoritarian" like children now.
Q4 2019
There've been a lot of discussions about this, Octopus
The problem is some of the advice is contradictory, and the implementation a little wayward
@OctopusOnfire That's just sargon being libertarianalisticist. He's like "I don't want to catch the virus." but he's also like "We went for a walk, everyone is outside with their families, what a nice sunny day." <:smugon:512048583806025739>
The last time he said his wife was angry at him for taking her to the supermarket
Sargon is actually retarded if he did that.
I think he social distances though lol
Go on...
Lmao are you seriously comparing Guardian to your lol blog
@Goddess Tyche Yep, that's sargoy. Laughing at France for having to file forms to be let out of their homes while being like "people are responsible and will do the distancing".
Also I think in the last video before the lotr one he mentioned there was a helicopter hovering over the fields he went for a walk to <:Veemote:501103628883591188>
> people are responsible and will do the distancing
Not only does he live in an area where ethnic homegeneity is a long forgotten circumstance, he also lives in a country where they fucking confiscate butter knives, so him talking about personal responsibility as if it's a factor with anything is fucking retarded.
Yea
It's cute watching him thinking that people at large are responsible <:smugon:512048583806025739>
lmao
even a fully ethnically homogenous country where people all voted for a single party will have SOME retards that will force the government into total lockdown mode
voluntary total quarantines are a fucking myth
like communism
I'd compare the Guardian to anything, especially the opinion section
Guardian -is- a lol blog, it's almost entirely opinion pieces
@Goddess Tyche We're a pretty homo <:smugay:593502151758708776> country and yet if the credit card payments are anything to go by, 50 % of people coming from Italy who were officially quarantined broke quarantine at least once.
Though no idea if they couldn't just give their card to a family member and send them shopping. So probably not as high as 50, but still
> 50 % of people coming from Italy who were officially quarantined broke quarantine at least once.
LMAO
Maybe you SHOULD be a police state
And yes, i'm drawing a direct equivalence between Guido and Guardian
They are flip sides of the same coin
Albeit Guardian has a -far- larger budget, and it shows
But they both fulfil a partisan niche in the mediaspace
Well yea, it changed from "maybe you should stay at home" to "shut everything down, close schools, close non-grocery shops, fuck China, fuck Iran, you know what, fuck everyone beyond the borders, don't you dare go outside without yer gob covered" in about 10 days
