Download both.

2020-03-30 02:50:57 UTC

I downloaded Doom Eternal, will probably get Animal Crossing once I beat it

2020-03-30 04:51:49 UTC

bros im downloading the epic launcher RIGHT FUCKING NOW <:peperage:588019564575457311>

2020-03-30 05:00:44 UTC

Also I’m playing on Ultra-Violence and shit can get hairy quick, especially when the elite demons managed to sneak up behind you

2020-03-30 05:03:40 UTC

i know theyre going for the classic doom theme with modern gameplay but the game really needed an actual minimap because skyrim style compass is absolute cancer and having to pop out the map every time is horrible

2020-03-30 16:14:30 UTC

Whose got themselves some bannerlord then

2020-03-30 16:37:48 UTC

wish I could buy it

2020-03-30 16:59:40 UTC

Anyone want to play bannerlord online?

2020-03-30 23:47:21 UTC

@Xaverius >gimmick game
bruh

2020-03-30 23:48:19 UTC

Also a non VR version is not going to happen

2020-03-30 23:48:25 UTC

that would ruin the point of it

2020-03-30 23:48:36 UTC

Yea, so a gimmick game then <:smugon:512048583806025739>

2020-03-30 23:49:25 UTC

The point of half life alyx is that it's meant to show off VR as a viable medium, it's literally supposed to be the opposite of a gimmick game, and from what I've seen it succeeds

2020-03-30 23:49:39 UTC

VR as it is right now is a gimmick tho

2020-03-30 23:49:42 UTC

nothing revolutionary but if it was it would come off as a gimmick

2020-03-30 23:50:02 UTC

Have you seen gameplay?

2020-03-30 23:51:39 UTC

I have seen how VR looks like

2020-03-30 23:51:45 UTC

Like what the fuck are those stick controllers

2020-03-30 23:51:55 UTC

We need actual gloves with tactile feedback, jeez

2020-03-30 23:52:04 UTC

that's a gimick

2020-03-30 23:52:15 UTC

haptic feedback would never work

2020-03-30 23:52:29 UTC

it would be gimmick

2020-03-30 23:52:34 UTC

Well, if it's not gonna work, then VR will remain a gimmick

2020-03-30 23:52:54 UTC

Haptic feedback does not add to gameplay

2020-03-30 23:53:01 UTC

you nigga what

2020-03-30 23:53:11 UTC

That is a major point of *virtual* *reality*

2020-03-30 23:53:18 UTC

it adds to emersion but that's gets very gimmicky the further you go

2020-03-30 23:53:29 UTC

Being able to "touch" the *virtual* things as if they were *real*

2020-03-30 23:53:37 UTC

I'm thinking of gameplay not of "virtual reality"

2020-03-30 23:53:40 UTC

Seems like we have vastly differing concepts of what VR is

2020-03-30 23:53:47 UTC

Though I'm glad that now, like four centuries after it getting made, they finally figured out how to make it wireless

2020-03-30 23:54:29 UTC

They could've made it wireless ages ago it would just put a heavy strain on already strained systems

2020-03-30 23:55:02 UTC

the tech that has become widely available is only just now able to run VR wirelessly

2020-03-30 23:56:01 UTC

I love that you're the guy calling half life alyx gimmicky and your only argument is that VR is gimmick because it doesn't have haptic feedback, which is the biggest gimmick of VR possible

2020-03-30 23:56:11 UTC

and I would say unwanted

2020-03-30 23:56:14 UTC

for gameplay

2020-03-30 23:56:19 UTC

vr doesnt add to gameplay either

2020-03-30 23:56:21 UTC

tbh

2020-03-30 23:56:40 UTC

what

2020-03-30 23:56:58 UTC

this is like saying a physics engine doesn't add to gameplay

2020-03-30 23:57:26 UTC

i mean a physics engine that doesnt get use to its full potential *doesnt* add to gameplay
