Shame it's a gimmick game. Gotta wait for the non-VR version <:smugon:512048583806025739>
But Valve has always had the best graphics?
Not going to buy a vr for just one game and never use it again.
Unfortunately the fursuit is the one that's competitively viable
That suit looks well made
Sure, steam has pretty great graphics <:smugon:512048583806025739>
I'm currently experiencing the duality of man; do I download Doom Eternal or Animal Crossing
DOOOOOOOOOOM
porque no los dos
Bannerlord in 12 hrs!
Download both.
I downloaded Doom Eternal, will probably get Animal Crossing once I beat it
bros im downloading the epic launcher RIGHT FUCKING NOW <:peperage:588019564575457311>
Also I’m playing on Ultra-Violence and shit can get hairy quick, especially when the elite demons managed to sneak up behind you
i know theyre going for the classic doom theme with modern gameplay but the game really needed an actual minimap because skyrim style compass is absolute cancer and having to pop out the map every time is horrible
Whose got themselves some bannerlord then
wish I could buy it
Also a non VR version is not going to happen
that would ruin the point of it
Yea, so a gimmick game then <:smugon:512048583806025739>
The point of half life alyx is that it's meant to show off VR as a viable medium, it's literally supposed to be the opposite of a gimmick game, and from what I've seen it succeeds
VR as it is right now is a gimmick tho
nothing revolutionary but if it was it would come off as a gimmick
Have you seen gameplay?
I have seen how VR looks like
Like what the fuck are those stick controllers
We need actual gloves with tactile feedback, jeez
that's a gimick
haptic feedback would never work
it would be gimmick
Well, if it's not gonna work, then VR will remain a gimmick
Haptic feedback does not add to gameplay
you nigga what
That is a major point of *virtual* *reality*
it adds to emersion but that's gets very gimmicky the further you go
Being able to "touch" the *virtual* things as if they were *real*
