update the cert
lazy admin
I have been getting the same thing the last few days, even if I do click through it gives me an Error 403.
this is me checking just now
I see you're using Brave too, so it isn't just the browser
Some part of their CND is fucked up.
its working on the archive.vn one too so... idk whats up
but its safe and used by tons of people. another archive site is https://web.archive.org
https://archive.today
https://archive.vn
https://archive.ph
https://archive.is
are all the same site. So maybe just use a different one
The problems with the archive.vn links is they are a URL shortener as well so you can't even figure out the original link to try and visit directly or in another archive.
yes you can its on the page
ok, it works in the Tor window
I can't get to the page.
I had to do a captcha
but it worked
you are using brave? @AdamBv1
its working fine for me rn
try a different browser maybe
Hmm, works in Edge.
Must be one of the security settings I cranked up.
anyways. idk just trying to help you guys figure out whats up because its a great way to share articles and bypass paywalls and ad revenue for shitty sites like CNN
and Fox News as well if you hate that site lol
Tweaked things a few weeks ago for working ESNI support but only had archive link issues the last 2-3 days so it worked but archive must have borked something.
for example NYTimes will block you after like 1 article a day. but with these sites you can copy the link and put it into the archive site and itll actually let you read the whole article. no limits
the https://web.archive.org site i have used many times to retrieve research papers that were removed because they reported hate facts lol.
Archive.org is nice because it at least keeps the original URL visible, if archive.vn is down for some reason then /Cnbel does not mean shit to me.
I usually get research papers off sci hub
98% of White women who have children with Black men are not financially supported by the father. Source: http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=2625893
So for this one.
if you go to the source link. its gone. lol.
but you put that link into web.archive.org
Then you get the DOI
put http://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.2625893
into sci-hub.se
and boom. knowledge unlocked lol
also lately ive been having just as many issues with the web.archive.org site... to be honest.
Ill go to archive a link and itll say its saved, and then it turns out not to be... and im like whaaaaat. Ive submitted a ticket.. hopefully they fix it
After looking into this a bit more it's not a browser issue as multiple browsers are doing this and it's not consistent. Tried over mobile data as well as the home and get issues there too. It seems to be a DNS problem from the archive.today side.
