@DrYuriMom It is mostly how much you are exposed to something. The more you are exposed, the more you feel comfortable. It is in human nature to be on alert when around something you don't understand or never seen before.

What if all a transperson wants is to live their lives but others try to tell them they have to out themselves every time they go to the bathroom or break the law.

My stance on transgender people is that they have gender dysphoria and the way our society is currently handling it is with transitioning. I think that other avenues should be tried, like hormone balancing or understanding what causes gender dysphoria in the first place. Ideally you would want people comfortable in their own bodies more than changing their bodies to fit their thoughts. Sadly the idea is chastised.

@DrYuriMom That comes down to precedent and fear. There been instances of people who claim to be transgender, using that as a way to gain access to female bathrooms and easier access to their prey. That is what the conservatives are against, they are not against transgenders in general.
