I work with trans people, there are a lot of trans people in the software industry, I don't have any issues with 'em, and I can not for the life of me remember paying any attention to which washrooms they enter.
It's only an issue because someone is trying to tell my lawyer or physician friend where to go to the bathroom
Soon (TM) they will come for you
To them.... the end justifies the means. Who cares if someone gets hurt in the processes.
we don't have to do ANYTHING
Society tells everyone where to go to the bathroom.
we just keep doing what makes sense at a personal level
Almost everyone accepts it and moves on.
everything works out just fine
Yeah, most people don't care, they just want to live
I feel bad for the trans people who just want to transition and fit in as a normal person for having to deal with all the people 'speaking for them' and treating them as some holy specimen
if I see a sketchy motherfucker of any description enter a washroom I am responsible for
I'm probably going to keep an eye on the situation
@Bookworm *society* you say?
vocal minority, extremists, etc
Keep bringing it all up
Yes, we have societal conventions, including regarding bathroom use.
The problem is when the vocal minority is the active majority
I rather present my idea and not speak on anyone's behalf. Speaking for people is a lot of burden and I am kind of lazy.
I sometimes use women's washrooms
but I don't when I think it will upset people unduly
The problem is when the vocal minority influence the norms*
Most of us do.
I guess Cabin Jack in the Alaskan boonies can do pretty much whatever he wants.
I need a cigar
if you're the last one to leave the office, and the men's room was flooded yesterday and still reeks
I miss gab, even if I didn't like it that much
I don't like people who try speaking on my behalf. *I want my independence. *
Bitchute better not go after
nobody gives two shits which washroom you use
Which in this case I'd say is because most activists in this situation *are* the extremists. Most of the normal people just go about their day to day lives without actively engaging in activism
Night, guys.
'night dude
Have a good sleep
make sure to go to the washroom
But don't choose the wrong one.
sleep well bookworm
My private washroom, where *I MAKE THE RULES*!
Gaymers rise up
because the only thing worse than upsetting somebody by entering the washroom, is pissing yourself.
