all interesting
"Facebook says it's shut down a series of pages - and Instagram accounts - for suspicious behavior connected to the election."
Political censorship? Shocking.
"Spanish for "where to vote" is top search trend"
Expecting reliable communication via Facebook in 2018 is just dumb.
“ Exclusive: Twitter deletes over 10,000 accounts that sought to discourage U.S voting “ by Christopher Bing on Reuters
Twitter deleted these accounts after they were reported by the DCCC which is the division of the DNC that focuses on House races. The DCCC admits that its agenda is to prevent the spread of “ negative and false information about democrats “ . A clearly partisan, and bias, organization is working directly with twitter to censor its opposition.

Has anyone ask Tim if he thinks traps are gay or not?
Twitter is working with the DNC...
@missdanger I think they covered that in NY with sargon and some other guy
the conclusion is maybe
Since everyone seems to like a good conspiracy, isn't it entirely possible that's a false flag? And if you jump on my for suggesting it, remember that the next time you're rising a false flag rumor wave.
I can easily imagine since it didn't have much use before it wouldn't be hard to make it trend
What are you saying is a false flag, Cat?
hmm, traps are becoming more mainstream nowadays. The app Tik Tok is full of them
Oh, donde votar?
I suppose it could be a false flag.
I'm suggesting that someone is purposefully making it trend just so they can then see people debate the implications
Just get some programs to spam the search term.
I doubt it was searched much before so to get thousands of % increase wouldn't be hard at all. It's relative change, not absolute.
Can we compare with the proportional growth of the search term "where to vote"?
Yes, I'd much rather see absolute change than relative
Heh, Google doesn't need any third-party bot support in order to artificially inflate 'donde votar'.
could just as well be search shaping to shape the behaivor of those searching in a form of subconcious programming. Google did admit to changing the rankings of search results in order to influence people as well
But yes, do vote today, everyone. If you haven't yet, take an hour or so to research the choices, their stances and their past activity.
10 vs 350 is a 3500% change
Of course Google is up to its usual election meddling.
But in absolute terms it's inconsequential
There are thousands or millions of search phrases fluctuating at a rate of 3500% at any given moment.
I can see google putting that into the autocompletes of people in regions that have larger hispanic populations automatically in order to influence their voting pattern (the donde votar term)
I wouldn't expect any less from Google.
Exactly, because seldom used terms can spike quite easily just in a small town and the relative change would be big but the absolute change small
dont you know its russian bots.
Whelp, to change the subject, I actually have TWO civic duties today. The reason why I am still around is that not only is today voting day but I am on grand jury duty every Tuesday for the next two months. Today is day one. Should be interesting.
when will results come out?
well then
wait, who thought election day was an okay day to have a trail?
Results will start around 6pm EST today and continue for about two weeks after that.
