@R9b1t for that one product yes, but they have a LOT of products and probably a ton that are kept in total secret. So imagine that if this is what they release what is kept in the vault
Even if he was reviveable?
When something is stagnate it is dead
I have good news!
well i mean like braod
BROAD*
Senomyx website states that “The company’s key flavor programs focus on the discovery and development of savory, sweet and salt flavor ingredients that are intended to allow for the reduction of MSG, sugar and salt in food and beverage products … Using isolated human taste receptors, we created proprietary taste receptor-based assay systems that provide a biochemical or electronic readout when a flavor ingredient interacts with the receptor.”
Very few instances involve this and you are basing this off a potential which is rather inconsistent @ExceptionalFeather
The fact is he is stagnate
It is hypothetical for the sake of finding a moral
Well does it feel wrong when you are about to shoot him
but if they are using human cells one way, there is no reason to think they aren't exploring every other way they can exploit the fetal cells they can get
Is it about feelings? It would feel wrong to me.
and it's what isn't said that scares me... what else is there?
yeah i see what you mean
So than it is wrong because it contradicts your emotions @ExceptionalFeather
Well im not in favor of aborting babies that are already developed and have a heart and everything i.e. mid-late stage pregnancy.
I would only support that if the womens life is at risk and you risk having 2 dead people instead of 1.
And frankly, i think a lot women would rather have the child live than themselves.
The evidence of absence is not the absence of evidence
But law shouldn't and can't be based off values but reason its self which is based off non contradictory logic
i would say having a developed fetus with a functioning heart is a reasonable line to draw
CBS News noted such in a mid-2011 report on the Senomyx controversy (which for some reason primarily focused on PepsiCo):
[Senomyx] appears to be engineering HEK cells to function like the taste-receptor cells we have in our mouth. This way, Senomyx can test millions of substances to see if they work as different types of taste enhancers without subjecting human volunteers to endless taste tests.
Is it reasonable that someone should not be shot in the head if their heart is stopped and they can be revived though.
@ExceptionalFeather thats based on values not reason the person is stagnate yes?
well shooting or otherwise maiming a dead body is considered immoral anyway
Also its the potential to be revived
Vc?
Vc?
Yes
No?
@R9b1t remember hek means human embyronic kidney, 293 is the batch they used for that particular product.. of which we have no way to know what they have as their total product list
the snopes fact check seems to emphasize the process is for testing on kidney cells
@ExceptionalFeather voice chat?
see i dont like that anyway because it's use of fetuses, but it isn't directly adding HEK293 into our food
now why they wouldn't just taste it themselves is beyond me
I'm in bed my phone mic is no good on Discord for some reason
Just need you to hear atleast
It's annoying to type about more complicated subjects
and tbh when i pop open a bag of lays potato chipes im not tasting it and thinking how great baby kidney tastes
Your mic is muted
