i would say having a developed fetus with a functioning heart is a reasonable line to draw

2018-11-08 05:22:03 UTC

CBS News noted such in a mid-2011 report on the Senomyx controversy (which for some reason primarily focused on PepsiCo):

[Senomyx] appears to be engineering HEK cells to function like the taste-receptor cells we have in our mouth. This way, Senomyx can test millions of substances to see if they work as different types of taste enhancers without subjecting human volunteers to endless taste tests.

Is it reasonable that someone should not be shot in the head if their heart is stopped and they can be revived though.

2018-11-08 05:22:31 UTC

@ExceptionalFeather thats based on values not reason the person is stagnate yes?

2018-11-08 05:22:42 UTC

well shooting or otherwise maiming a dead body is considered immoral anyway

2018-11-08 05:22:47 UTC

Also its the potential to be revived

2018-11-08 05:22:51 UTC

Vc?

2018-11-08 05:22:55 UTC

Vc?

2018-11-08 05:23:01 UTC

Yes

2018-11-08 05:23:07 UTC

No?

2018-11-08 05:23:36 UTC

@R9b1t remember hek means human embyronic kidney, 293 is the batch they used for that particular product.. of which we have no way to know what they have as their total product list

2018-11-08 05:24:19 UTC

the snopes fact check seems to emphasize the process is for testing on kidney cells

2018-11-08 05:24:39 UTC
2018-11-08 05:24:42 UTC

see i dont like that anyway because it's use of fetuses, but it isn't directly adding HEK293 into our food

2018-11-08 05:25:16 UTC

now why they wouldn't just taste it themselves is beyond me

2018-11-08 05:25:17 UTC

I'm in bed my phone mic is no good on Discord for some reason

2018-11-08 05:25:33 UTC

Just need you to hear atleast

2018-11-08 05:25:51 UTC

It's annoying to type about more complicated subjects

2018-11-08 05:26:02 UTC

and tbh when i pop open a bag of lays potato chipes im not tasting it and thinking how great baby kidney tastes

2018-11-08 05:26:17 UTC

Your mic is muted

2018-11-08 05:26:18 UTC

@R9b1t they have other products though, such as what they call substance 951 (sugar enhancer0 and another that is supposed to make foods more savory

2018-11-08 05:26:51 UTC

I would call that reasonable, your not gonna shoot someone on an operation table because their heart stopped, obviously you gonna try to revive that person who already is alive and had a whole live and everything.
A young fetus isnt alive, hasnt been alive yet, feels nothing and has less going on then a fly.
It doesnt feel pain either becuase there is nothing firing yet to make them capable of doing that.
That all happens at a later stage.
Hence, i think the only harm an abortion at an early stage causes is the fact that the women will have to live with that for the rest of her life and the father if he is known at all for that matter.

2018-11-08 05:27:38 UTC

I think the more heavier moral questions are beyond that early stage

2018-11-08 05:27:42 UTC

which is being pushed btw

2018-11-08 05:27:50 UTC

Point is that it would seem reasonable that heart stopped alone is not good enough reason for the rest of someone body to be destroyed if there is potential of revival

2018-11-08 05:27:53 UTC

im not under any illusion

2018-11-08 05:28:04 UTC

For ttv

2018-11-08 05:28:16 UTC

plus other products designed for cigarettes, and others made for soy products

2018-11-08 05:28:22 UTC

ok but you cant revive a fetus either feather

2018-11-08 05:28:25 UTC

@Abel Thank god! SHe's alive and (hopefully) well and not killed by Islam.

2018-11-08 05:28:26 UTC

because theres nothing to revive

2018-11-08 05:28:36 UTC

Why is that?

2018-11-08 05:28:40 UTC

heart isnt there, body isnt there, brain isnt there, nothing is there

2018-11-08 05:28:53 UTC

My mic does not work on my phone properly

2018-11-08 05:29:38 UTC

agian im arguing specifically at early stage not late stage, i dont agree with late stage abortions unless the women in question is at risk of dying and/or both if pregnancy is continued

2018-11-08 05:29:52 UTC

i had a friend going through that, its not a happy thing to have to go through

2018-11-08 05:30:14 UTC

Still, some people would choose the Baby....

2018-11-08 05:30:14 UTC

i should really go to bed

2018-11-08 05:30:19 UTC

anyway night

2018-11-08 05:30:21 UTC

she would
