That is counter productive.
That makes people have a averse reaction to the LGBT community.
lgbt advocacy should've just been focused on teaching people that just because i person isn't straight doesn't mean they're bad. and teach them health / saftey around sex acts.
If they want to be accepted by the Republicans, they need to let it happen naturally.
No forcing it down other's throats, not attacking others for not supporting it. Just talk, reason with, and convince them.
It will be slow, but it will be built on trust and understanding, it will be built on mutual acceptance.
Yeah my gay friend he doesnt like LGBT community, he says they're too pushy with their agenda
Republicans are becoming open to the LGBT community.
i swear most of the issues against lgbt is out group bias, just educate people so they understand that they're not really any different and the problem should sort itself out over a few generations, instead we get lgbt doing there best to display their sexuality.
Slowly... but surely.
I agree
i know some bi dudes who are the same.
they get fed up with the community being so focused on identity bullshit.
I do agree that the activists are asshats
i don't see why being lgbt has to be your identity?
The solution is obviously a capitalistic one. Everyone has a price. The LGBT community just has to pay people who hate them to shelve their hate.
@Atkins you are a moron
It isn't my identity but not being able to marry sucked.
i've got a drag queen friend from childhood, his facebook is literally nothing but lgbt sexuality. its disturbing :/
This is coming from a Atheist who didn't think the Republicans would accept the LGBT.
Everyone in Republican side is more accepting and willing to bring you into their fold.
They are willing to listen and understand.
That is nuts.
Granted there is a small minority who is against LGBT.
But most are accepting and the public attitude is becoming more pro-LGBT.
They are willing to help the LGBT community because to them, they are fellow United States citizens.
We don't like Labels.
Being able to marry will come in due time 10th.
yeah not being ablet o marry before sucks, marriage just being government recognized paternship i think should be open to all within reason regardless of sexuality. i don't have any problem with lgbt people themselves, i only ever run into problems when they experience everything through their sexulity and make it their core identity.
I don't like labels
Just got to keep explaining and reasoning with them.
along with asshole activists.
Labels do help. Especially when I'm at the grocery store.
Sooner or later, they will be like... your right, let's do that. After all it is part of constitution and you are fellow Untied States citizens.
Just got to take the time and slowly let the acceptance grow.
Don't force it, that makes people combative and double down.
i thought america legalized gay marriage?
What is part of the Constitution?
We did.
The legalization of Gay Marriage had averse reaction to it.
