There are multiple felonies taking place, up to 5 year sentence on each. If the arrests were made properly (see Antifa for failure to arrest people who deserve to be arrested), everyone who was involved would be in jail for at least the next 20 years.

MSM won't turn its back on their own so easily. They realized that if he could be gone after like this, any of them are at risk too. So they HAD to rally in his defense, and that started the domino effect that caused tech companies to fold against Antifa too.
