If it's a simple projection of a scene or surface that is not meant for this, it leads to projection issues.
by "not work" i mean not be popular over a sustained period
it comes and goes in fads
every time
BTW, you can create this nauseating effect even if you just mess with the code in a 3D engine.
If, for example, your projecting is mathematically slightly off, you get really strange fish lens effects, etc.
Usually, you have a certain cone of projection from which you project onto the rendering surface. If the field of view is too broad, you get a fish lens like effect and your brain is confused.
THere is a huge amount of processing going on in your brain. The image is by no means communicated one to one.
I think we will get it right soon.
Someday, I wanna make a VR detective movie
Imagine the possibilities
i'd play that
i mean being dragged along
I'm done here.
checking out.
well one day VR will be fully immersive
*I'm happy wiht my Ace Combat VR*
aldone done
how about you maybe
just like
help kids get into houses?
and not kill them
i dont doubt that if the gay population grows
the need for children will grow so they can raise kids
Hmm ... I can't find very many studies on this topic.
There are a few studies on motion sickness from the 90s, but then things just kind of dropped off.

I guess it's true: it does come and go in fads.
But then again, other tech did, too, such as touch displays and 3D graphics. I hope we get VR right soon.
Aren't touch displays the default for phones now?
Yes.
Sometimes the tech is just not quite there until some other technology comes along.
There were very early touch display designs, long before even proper cell phones.
They were very low resolution and not very comfortable to use.
Tech usually grows in spurts until it becomes mainstream.
