the medication can get them up to past 60

2018-11-23 16:20:11 UTC

Another activist Judge.

2018-11-23 16:20:15 UTC

Who are "they". I just got here.

2018-11-23 16:26:05 UTC

you a judge?

2018-11-23 16:26:10 UTC

you prolly are one of them!

2018-11-23 16:29:50 UTC

I'm not a judge. I'm a doctor. I'm just serving grand jury duty right now, one of my civic obligations as an American.

2018-11-23 16:32:09 UTC

And if by "one of them" you mean I'll treat rapists and murderers no differently than Mother Teresa when they are my patient, then I'm guilty as charged.

2018-11-23 16:33:16 UTC

That said, as a juror I'll happily send them to Hell. All depends on what role I am playing at the time.

2018-11-23 16:33:42 UTC

Being a doctor requires a healthy ability to compartmentalize.

2018-11-23 16:33:58 UTC

I agree with you Cat. But it does make my blood run cold. He just let violent criminals loose because Iraq doesn't want them.

2018-11-23 16:34:20 UTC

Of course Iraq doesn't want them, they are criminals.

2018-11-23 16:34:53 UTC

I haven't seen any real news report. Were they found guilty in the US? Or Iraq?

2018-11-23 16:35:03 UTC

2018-11-23 16:35:13 UTC

They were found guilty, just waiting to be deported to their home nation.

2018-11-23 16:35:25 UTC

Illegal immigrants here that committed violent crimes and have been convicted.

2018-11-23 16:35:30 UTC

Guilty here in the US?

2018-11-23 16:35:35 UTC

Hmm

2018-11-23 16:35:35 UTC

Yes.

2018-11-23 16:35:59 UTC

but paddy and linus are sitting alone too

2018-11-23 16:36:03 UTC

HMMMMM

2018-11-23 16:36:24 UTC

Then I'd need to understand more about the laws pernitting us to imprison foreign national that have been given due process

2018-11-23 16:36:54 UTC

This may be a failure of the legislature to write effective laws

2018-11-23 16:37:12 UTC

They are subjected to our laws when they are on our soil.

2018-11-23 16:37:23 UTC

Doesn't mean they are subject to our constitutional laws though.

2018-11-23 16:37:32 UTC

You must be a citizen to have those.

2018-11-23 16:37:37 UTC

Judges adjudicate the law. If the law is lacking, they still must follow it.

2018-11-23 16:38:11 UTC

Activist Judges apply our constitution to foreign nationalist, even though the constitution is intended for U.S. citizens only.

2018-11-23 16:39:14 UTC

The damn caravan is trying to sue Trump for violating their constitutional rights when in fact the constitution doesn't apply to them.

2018-11-23 16:39:39 UTC

My point is that we may have laws requiring the deportation of violent criminals but no law addressing what to do if the country refused to accept thier citizen.

2018-11-23 16:39:49 UTC

It may be a hole in the law.

2018-11-23 16:39:56 UTC

Yeah... we need to fix that hole.

2018-11-23 16:40:13 UTC

That's the legislature's job, not the judiciary

2018-11-23 16:40:19 UTC

I am six of exploitation of our laws.

2018-11-23 16:40:24 UTC

Sick^

2018-11-23 16:40:32 UTC

If the judge were to make up law, that really is activism

2018-11-23 16:42:01 UTC

But again, I don't know the law in this area. I suspect, though, that a thorough investigation of this event will yield a hole in the law. Seriously, no judge wants to make a ruling that will be overturned up the chain.

2018-11-23 16:42:18 UTC

There is many activist judges right now...located on the 9th circuit courts of appeals.

2018-11-23 16:42:40 UTC

Many times they made up laws or made up interruptions without citing anything, only to be shot down by the supreme court.

2018-11-23 16:43:54 UTC

Again, no judge wants to see thier rulings overturned. We will see what all the circuits do to adjust to changes on the Supreme.
