Speaking of losing wars, I remember a couple days ago you guys were talking about Vietnam. My favorite quote is “We didn’t lose the war, we abandoned it”. We have no support back home, our troops were dying, Asians were ruthless as usual.
Tbh if my political fantasy was to be reality alive we’d see an HRE type system where we have city states by every county. Significant autonomy and freedom, with limited heavy industry and more trade skills being promoted, less government involvement meaning “public” schools are not government ran but funded by local communities instead. I could go in depth but basically imagine a drastically different government, society and et cetera.
Being I just came out of school not that long ago, no community gives a shit about their schools. Literally people donate THOUSANDS to the sports team but nothing for books and shit.
I disagree, academia should not be in the jurisdiction of government. Because that means they dictate the education system, what rhetoric is acceptable and can weaponize it.
