If I was found to be at fault

2019-10-04 04:14:15 UTC

This unions education is flawed, one sided and lacking.

2019-10-04 04:14:22 UTC

Educational reforms should be focused on improving the quality of education, I agree with requiring it

2019-10-04 04:14:23 UTC

School is mandatory until the age of 18, by law, or 16 if your parents sign off.

2019-10-04 04:14:40 UTC

It definitely should be mandatory

2019-10-04 04:14:51 UTC

Well they give you all the tools to attend. They send you a bus once you live a certain distance away. There’s literally no excuse to why you couldn’t make It to school

2019-10-04 04:14:51 UTC

I will home-school my children

2019-10-04 04:14:59 UTC

I disagree, we should encourage homeschools, trade schools moreso.

2019-10-04 04:15:05 UTC

Not everyone has to be a medical professional.

2019-10-04 04:15:07 UTC

Home schools and trade schools fall under that

2019-10-04 04:15:10 UTC

you do realize

2019-10-04 04:15:16 UTC

High school isn’t medical profession lol

2019-10-04 04:15:16 UTC

If they're to be indoctrinated, it will be with my beliefs

2019-10-04 04:15:20 UTC

Yeah

2019-10-04 04:15:20 UTC

Trade schools come after high school...

2019-10-04 04:15:23 UTC

You’re simple there to just get the diploma

2019-10-04 04:15:32 UTC

I had the option to go to a trade school instead of high school

2019-10-04 04:15:47 UTC

Which I think should be a universal option

2019-10-04 04:15:52 UTC

That should definitely be expanded

2019-10-04 04:15:56 UTC

I’d prefer trade to take a more early start in the education system. You learn and absorb more young.

2019-10-04 04:15:59 UTC

Was it private? I know private schools can let you focus on very specific things

2019-10-04 04:16:02 UTC

I'm in your equivalent of a trade school

2019-10-04 04:16:02 UTC

Hi in your equivalent of a trade school, I'm Dad!

2019-10-04 04:16:11 UTC

I don't know if it was privately ran, but it was definitely publically funded

2019-10-04 04:16:13 UTC

Issue with just a trade school, is that you are stuck in what you studied, since it's not a general diploma like high school.

2019-10-04 04:16:26 UTC

No, it wasn't like that

2019-10-04 04:16:30 UTC

I know they do that in Canada too

2019-10-04 04:16:33 UTC

You had normal high school classes

2019-10-04 04:16:41 UTC

But you also had the vocation class which you chose

2019-10-04 04:16:46 UTC

I already have two trades and this one will be something I'm truly passionate about

2019-10-04 04:16:46 UTC

Hi truly passionate about, I'm Dad!

2019-10-04 04:16:48 UTC

they also pay for all of your certifications

2019-10-04 04:16:51 UTC

In Canada as a high schooler you can pick a certain study which is fucking crazy, they miss out on so much

2019-10-04 04:16:59 UTC

That's so dumb

2019-10-04 04:17:09 UTC

Kids shouldn't be expected to make that kind of choice that young on

2019-10-04 04:17:34 UTC

Tbh the brain isn’t fully developed until you’re in your early 20s. The choice should be made then.

2019-10-04 04:17:36 UTC

I like the way my vocational school did it because even though you learned a trade, it prepared you for more than that if you wish for it

2019-10-04 04:17:45 UTC

Kids can barely choose what they want to eat, nevertheless a major determining factor for their future

2019-10-04 04:17:47 UTC

Early 20’s for males

2019-10-04 04:17:49 UTC

Kek

2019-10-04 04:18:09 UTC

Ok Alice I’ll wait until you’re in your 30s for the looks to fade 👌
