The Arbams has been modified over the years and can survive a lot of IEDs now

They have *bomb proof* transport vehicles now. Basically just a thick metal layer in the bottom. The vehicle is still fucked but you’re not instantly dead anymore

Yeah, I know, but IED's are still by far the most effective weapon against US soldiers, more men are killed by IED's than anything else.

So trying to use asymmetric warfare as an example as to why something wont work is really kind of a strawman

Even in fallout looking at the power armor there are severe weak points at the limbs for mobility

That was an issue knights had with plate armor but they seemed to get that down to a T with late medieval technology
