First they take away pension, then they make it to where it takes an extremely long time to be promoted meaning you’re poor longer. Nobody is going to fucking stay and wait all that extra time to get promoted. They will leave.

They can barely keep anybody in service as it it and now they wanna make the one thing that makes people stay (promotions) a lot harder to achieve.

The military used to be a career, with retirement benefits, and space for career mobility, now it's not.

Nothing over a 4 year enlistment is really worth it.

At 4 years, you have received all the benefits you are really going to get.
