Is it because of retaliation, imperialist ideals, or something else?

2018-11-27 23:26:36 UTC

Niether. It's a very hard and multipolar issue. But if u wanna know this particular case, it a few words ukranian ships were heading to closed russian waters without permission. Russians were trying to prevent shit from escalating for 20 minutes and politely asked to go away or just stop. Ukranians didn't listen and were trying to proceed in closed waters. So russians instead of open fire rammed them. It was a typical provocation frim Kiev just to cry about evil russians again and to delay elections.

2018-11-27 23:26:42 UTC

Maybe Vadim forgot to pay the tab again...

2018-11-27 23:26:45 UTC

Oh.

2018-11-27 23:28:21 UTC

Ukranians also said that they had an order to fire if necessary, so Mr. Poroshenko wanted things to get bloody

2018-11-27 23:28:47 UTC

Okay, so it was retaliation. Got it.

2018-11-27 23:29:30 UTC

Last i heard the current Ukraine gov backed by the US spent most of the countries reserves to get themselves elected in the first place. Without that cash for the next election I figure they'll probably get booted from power so martial law seems like a great way to retain power.

2018-11-27 23:30:28 UTC

They stole plenty, but yeah, smth like that

2018-11-27 23:31:03 UTC

They know that people wont vote for em, so they got desperate

2018-11-27 23:33:29 UTC

That's a very pro Russia interpretation of events

2018-11-27 23:36:01 UTC

Lol, cause in this particular case it's how it is

2018-11-27 23:36:42 UTC

It's really not though. It's an ongoing dispute that Russia is playing hardball on after annexing part of Ukraine

2018-11-27 23:37:44 UTC

lol, ok, mate

2018-11-27 23:43:18 UTC

Russia was in violation of a treaty regardless about access through the strait there

2018-11-27 23:43:40 UTC

Russian forces violated ceasefire in Donbas

2018-11-27 23:43:56 UTC

A lot

2018-11-27 23:44:19 UTC

Ukrainians attempted to never fire even if under fire

2018-11-27 23:44:50 UTC

Last sentence is completely untrue and can be verified very easily

2018-11-27 23:45:06 UTC

You can disprove an intent?

2018-11-27 23:45:14 UTC

They sure did fire @Pondo

2018-11-27 23:45:20 UTC

I know

2018-11-27 23:45:38 UTC

They did not attempt assault as far as I know

2018-11-27 23:45:52 UTC

Does Papa Putin want a Holodomor 2.0?

2018-11-27 23:45:57 UTC

He does

2018-11-27 23:46:09 UTC

Uh can I post a Naked woman holding up a Ukraine flag, but you can't really see anything because she is behind it.

2018-11-27 23:46:15 UTC

You could she the shape of her body, but nothing else.

2018-11-27 23:46:15 UTC

@Rouqen your info is not completely correct.

2018-11-27 23:46:53 UTC

hang on

2018-11-27 23:47:01 UTC

Joke, in reality it would ultimately not be in Russia's best interest to genocide the Ukrainians again. With the Iron Curtain gone it ain't as easy to get away with things.

2018-11-27 23:47:32 UTC

In reality

2018-11-27 23:47:44 UTC

Russia always attempts ethnic cleansing

2018-11-27 23:47:48 UTC

In any ways

2018-11-27 23:49:07 UTC

If they were as hell-bent on ethnic cleansing they wouldn't have so many semi-autonomous ethnic-related republics in the Federation. Although Russia has always shown a desire of Muscovizing and Pan-Slavism.

2018-11-27 23:50:00 UTC

I am unsure if Ukraine uses the Grad rocket launching systems

2018-11-27 23:50:02 UTC

Ethnic cleansing is what China is doing with the Uighurs and other groups, what Russia currently does can't be considered ethnic cleansing.

2018-11-27 23:50:08 UTC

@Rouqen Russia consists of muslim Dagestan, Chechnya and few smaller republics, how is it that they want ethnic cleansing
