their kind will mean the end for normies.

Imagine using these metamaterials to build the world's most advance spacecraft that can be used to go beyond Earth's orbit to the moon.

2018-12-06 03:24:40 UTC

the problem right now is we cant create long un-interrupted carbon nanotubes, so they arent very strong

2018-12-06 03:24:55 UTC

That would also speed up experimentation and understanding of meta-materials, possibly making them possible to enter privatized market.

2018-12-06 03:25:00 UTC

Is the temperature change landing in water that sudden compared to the temperature change while falling from whatever altitude the SRBs separate at?

2018-12-06 03:25:07 UTC

A lot of what NASA has designed and worked on makes its way into the public sector.

2018-12-06 03:25:29 UTC

i imagine as long as you are in air the temperature change wont be nearly as rapid

2018-12-06 03:25:45 UTC

i could be wrong, maybe at hgih speeds its not that different

2018-12-06 03:26:44 UTC

i imagine there is some crazy ceramic material for the flame nozzle that would be affected a lot more than normal landing in water at least

2018-12-06 03:27:02 UTC

I am talking about creating an new shuttle like craft, that designed with these metamaterials to make it lighter, stronger, and better at withstanding extreme temperature. Also the metamaterials could improve on NASA's fleets onboard computers, making it much safer for astronauts and putting us far beyond any other nation in terms of space travel.

2018-12-06 03:27:32 UTC

Make it so the shuttle could leave Earth's orbit and reach the Moon, giving us a better chance of establishing a foothold outside our planet.

2018-12-06 03:27:34 UTC

if we start building with crazy meta materials the smallest impact on humanity will probably be advanced in rocket technology lol

2018-12-06 03:28:02 UTC

even just more lightweight cars would be a gigantic boon to our energy efficiency

2018-12-06 03:29:07 UTC

See.... there is potential in the Metamaterials.

2018-12-06 03:29:27 UTC

Plus NASA can basically expand upon the concept, by testing it out in space and seeing how it works in those extreme environments.

2018-12-06 03:29:59 UTC

Hell I could see the Metamaterials making its way into Astronauts outfits.

2018-12-06 03:30:38 UTC

Making them less bulky, more durable, and more maneuverable.

2018-12-06 03:30:44 UTC

Of course the costs would be extremely high at first.

2018-12-06 03:31:12 UTC

carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, etc are promising.

2018-12-06 03:31:24 UTC

could be some issues with it being a carcinogen though

2018-12-06 03:31:48 UTC

so i guess tim hasn't heard of cannibalism ?

2018-12-06 03:31:55 UTC

why do you say that

2018-12-06 03:32:00 UTC

his peta video

2018-12-06 03:32:05 UTC

he said people don't eat other people

2018-12-06 03:32:12 UTC

ah

2018-12-06 03:32:23 UTC

he hasnt met my girlfriend

2018-12-06 03:32:35 UTC

Polynesia is quite famous for it

2018-12-06 03:32:40 UTC

Your girlfriend a cannibal?

2018-12-06 03:32:50 UTC

lol

2018-12-06 03:33:04 UTC

indeed she swallows part of me

2018-12-06 03:33:07 UTC

if she starts throwing salt on you, run.

2018-12-06 03:33:12 UTC

oh dear lord.

2018-12-06 03:33:15 UTC

what did I walk in on

2018-12-06 03:33:21 UTC

close your eyes

2018-12-06 03:33:24 UTC

Cannibalism

2018-12-06 03:33:26 UTC

dont tell mommy

2018-12-06 03:33:46 UTC

You don't tell mommy.

2018-12-06 03:33:53 UTC

Eat mommy

2018-12-06 03:34:07 UTC

She walks in on Valentines day just throws a bunch of salt on you says “IM A EAT YOU UP”
