Let's see if you can be faster than *that*, pain receptors.
Lol
France is red pilled
Is it one of those: “Hey we usually think of honest people coming in for good merit. But we should be open to other people and encourage them to succeed where they have no drive.” Articles?
No
It's actually encouraging selective immigration
Okay good ❤️
Good, that's the point of immigration.

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”
what about a sedative to knock you out... then guillotine ?
From New Colossus:
"Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
or preferably IMO no death penalty at all 😛
Apparently when the French give you a plaque, it automatically gets grafted into the Constitution.
Naw, Just quoting poetry :p
I mean... the "bad guys" are bad because they kill... so shouldnt we be the "good guys" and not kill?
christopher lee was at the last public guillotine in france
I'm not actually disagreeing
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure America already had a healthy system of immigration screening by the time Ms. Liberty came to New York.
I'm just pointing out that until the 20th Century we were getting all comers and our nation is built upon that foundation
Selective immigration is barely 100 years old
"The literacy test, a requirement that most adult immigrants be able to read or write, became the preferred restriction. Supporters saw it as the best means of securing the “most desirable” migrants, while critics saw education as the product of opportunity, not character or potential. In 1907, when Congress could not agree on its propriety, it created the Dillingham Commission—named for its chairman, U.S. Sen. William P. Dillingham, a Vermont Republican."
henlo
what was the estimated population of the US in 1911?
i assume it ramped up a few years after during ww1 and 2
1911 = 93,863,000
1920 = 106.5 million
1950 = 152.3 million
woah more than 10% in 9 years
And with a war and the 1919 Spanish Flu in the interval
1925 = 115.8 million
So yeah, explosive growth
stock market is having another hissy-fit
oil prices crashing like crazy too
seems to be all oil based
