A pastor's response to Tim's video on metoo'ing god:
"I'm saying the best refutation of his argument would have been to open a Bible, read the story, quote Mary's response, and Bob's your uncle."
Because apparently: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+1%3A38&version=NCV

taht video was funny

2018-12-08 03:43:20 UTC

but fuck every other fagg cuck who commented afterwards

2018-12-08 03:47:03 UTC

This is great

2018-12-08 03:47:14 UTC

Is there a reaction?

2018-12-08 03:47:21 UTC

I have been going for coffee with a pastor recently and we send content back and forth to get eachother's opinions.
The pastor's point is that there is a very direct quote from the bible where she gives consent.
Apparently he's heard from other pastors the same argument that she was coerced and didn't give consent.
Which he too thinks is nonsense.

So what an angel said “wanna hold god’s baby?”

2018-12-08 03:48:10 UTC

“Yeah sure why not.”

2018-12-08 03:48:19 UTC

“Wait why am I pregnant?”

I'm fairly certain Tim brought up the same issue of the person in the article arguing that she was "coerced" into saying yes.

2018-12-08 03:50:05 UTC

But yea
"Do you want to give birth to God's son?"
"I am the servant of the Lord. Let this happen to me as you say!"

Is pretty much consent

2018-12-08 03:50:21 UTC

Pretty much

2018-12-08 03:50:34 UTC

I liked the title "Final Boss" heh

2018-12-08 03:50:41 UTC

Yeah, it's great

2018-12-08 03:50:47 UTC

This whole story is just hilarious to me.

2018-12-08 03:51:10 UTC

As I said to the pastor "you can't reason with crazy"

2018-12-08 03:52:25 UTC

There's a power imbalance for sure, but assuming she's an adult she still had the ability to make her own decision. Also if God is omniscient and omnibenevolent he would have probably only asked someone he knew would consent.

2018-12-08 03:52:41 UTC

tbh, what woman would say no to carrying God's child?

2018-12-08 03:52:42 UTC

like playing chess with a pigeon....

2018-12-08 03:53:02 UTC

I don't know, there'd be a lot of responsibility in carrying God's kid

2018-12-08 03:53:02 UTC

I'd do it just for the free fish and bread

2018-12-08 03:53:38 UTC

Hey man, free fish and bread is no joke

2018-12-08 03:54:02 UTC

I would assume the pregnancy would be the same as any other pregnancy

2018-12-08 03:54:11 UTC

Except there was no touching

2018-12-08 03:54:12 UTC

probably easier

2018-12-08 03:54:26 UTC

I don't know, did God have to have sex with Mary?

2018-12-08 03:54:46 UTC

God doesn't have a body

2018-12-08 03:54:55 UTC

Hence his Son to walk the earth

2018-12-08 03:54:58 UTC

According to some

2018-12-08 03:55:03 UTC

Nah, how could it have been an immaculate conception if she had sex out of wedlock?

2018-12-08 03:55:04 UTC

I've heard both

2018-12-08 03:55:08 UTC

it is possible to become pregnant without having sex

2018-12-08 03:55:14 UTC

Yes

2018-12-08 03:55:23 UTC

You just need semen

2018-12-08 03:55:26 UTC

Tukey baste

2018-12-08 03:55:26 UTC
