@Ace K if you can get de-personed because of something you said somewhere in some place and top of that was said in a particular context, a context that is completely ignored as usual, then we have sunk really really deep.
Kind of poking at real life things that these companies do.
Tumbler is banning of porn, Tide CEO is about Tide Pod Challenge... etc, etc...
Again, I disagree, but that is just my opinion and not the point I was making. The point is that even if he didn't, the site was likely under pressure from payment providers (credit card companies in particular) to act otherwise they would pull their support.
Hell there is even CEO movie pass which shows a down on luck CEO who is basically living as a bum on the street, begging people for money.
Fuckin g o t e m
Your opinion doesn't affect the rules or the statements the CEO/Cofounder made. Re: funding, that's certainly possible and speaks to a larger issue
@Ace K been saying that for quite some time here.
But what does it matter, after all if these payment providers think the same as the platform and dont give a shit about the context you're saying it in, you shouldnt be bothered by them doing this either.
The core question being "Why is MasterCard controlling discourse?"
https://youtu.be/xoxhDk-hwuo shits amazing, these fucks got what they deserce
or am i missing something here
Fanfiction... Harry Potter and the wand of impossible girth...
Yeah....
Lol
That is smutt fanfiction.
:\
I have high doubts it's about 'thinking the same as the platform' so much as it is profits and shareholders.
Tumbler really opened the door for creative bypassing of rules.
XD
doesnt*
whats the point in cutting business down for puritanical reasons if your goal is to make as much profit as possible
Where there is a will, there is a way. Humans will not relinquish our porn!
clearly this is about politics and the current puritanical wave going on
@Beemann look at their primary owners for that answer https://mastercardfdn.org/
image -> public perception -> better not do any business with anything that even remotely smells funny
porn/furry/smutty fanfiction/hentai/.... new terms I don't know what they mean yet.
@Beemann sargon uses problematic language
@tritrium dont hate on my college humor, they made irl google a thing
sargon is as vanilla as they come
Businesses want to expand and reach as many people as possible, and the markets (in perspective of shareholderS) favor being as safe as possible, if a business partner (in this case Patreon) is affiliated with someone that is very controversial, no doubt they would feel it would damage their brand, and would come down hard on their partner to do something about it.
hence my point
Its political and totally depended on the current overton window of puritanical hysteria
@Beemann essentially if you look at them closely they are made of globalists at their core, and fund a LOT of programs to push their agenda worldwide
if it was about profit, they would be george soros, who doesnt give a shit about anyone dying as long as he can make money of it
but he's certainly not the only one
A fact bomb
@tritrium chut up u white nigger
Wut
Well technically that would also be the Koch Brothers, Sheldon Adelson, the tech giants, Russian billionaires, etc XD
