its that even possible?
@Redneo True, theres no way of for sure telling if they do or don't have inner dialogue. They can claim they do or don't. Brain Scan them maybe?
you gotta be joking thats even posible? i mean how?
its also not something they were specificly asked about i dont think from what i remember
It might be one of those things that actually might be there, but you go to measure it like quantum physics and its not there.
just randomly reporting whats going on with them, thad didnt include any inner dialouge for some people
Heavey, Christopher L., and Russell T. Hurlburt. "The phenomena of inner experience." Consciousness and cognition 17.3 (2008): 798-810.
God i mean there should be explanations for that
" We used DES to describe 10 randomly identified moments of inner experience from each of 30 participants selected from a stratified sample of college students. We found that each of the five phenomena occurred in approximately one quarter of sampled moments, that the frequency of these phenomena varied widely across individuals, that there were no significant gender differences in the relative frequencies of these phenomena, and that higher frequencies of inner speech were associated with lower levels of psychological distress."
maybe they were distracted or they remembered something or were interested in a wall or a fly or something
I mean we can go further into the rabbit hole on inner dialogue, and drag out the MK-Ultra bullshit.
Hurlburt, Russell T., and Sarah A. Akhter. "Unsymbolized thinking." Consciousness and Cognition 17.4 (2008): 1364-1374.
I would also argue that Lawrence Kohlberg has commented on similar observations.
I mean even if its true its genetic right?
It depends on whether you investigate it from a purely linguistic perspective or from one of moral reflection and inner dialog.
(the acronym for LSD btw is german)
God if something like that would be real it would be really interesting

@Strufa I think that video also referenced that they cannot explain the root of their beliefs either, indicating that it wasn't something they created
lol
been a while since I watched it
Well but that i can accept
i mean most people just accept things cause it made them feel good
And then he was killed off
thats why religion is always prevalent
Over and over again
Oh, Aydin Paladin made a video about that?
Hold on, I got some sauce... (don't judge me, ive had fun researching the subject)
She is usually pretty good on those subjects.
I'd have to watch it.
God yeah bring evidence i really want to learn about that
i mean god i knew the NPC shit was a meme but i never though it was even real
I have to say, that that video of hers was really interesting
There are definitely personality disordered people who don't seem to have such moral inner debate.
I am not sure what percentage of normal people lack such experience.
I been on the fence for this subject for a long time.
