Thing is, the AI really wouldn't need to experiement, because they would have a far superior capacity and ability to assess information, assuming they have reached the singularity point.

It would be like us running an experiement to see if water was wet.

At times... I just wish the singularity would just happen today, then other times I wish it wouldn't happen in my life time.

Sadly it is going to happen in our lifetime.

thats why i always liked the movie "Her". the AI just disappears once they reach singularity, leaving us behind. far more terrifying than AI overlords imo
