Without first knowing the # of illegals currently living in the U.S., every single "expert report" on the subject is meaningless. For example: We have no idea how many crimes are committed by illegals because the police, the courts and the prisons do not report the immigration status of perpetrators. So how can ANYONE claim "illegals commit less crimes" with ANY accuracy?

@Dusty Morgan I looked it up recently. I wanted to know, "How do they know 40% of illegals are visa overstays?" I found the number came from a 1997 report to Congress from the State Dept while requesting money for a new entry/exit system. The # was obviously inflated and inaccurate since by their own admission they had no way of knowing how many overstays they had.
