2018-11-21 12:58:08 UTC

nocturnal is the worst for depression

2018-11-21 12:58:16 UTC

"the hour of the wolf"

2018-11-21 12:58:18 UTC

@Leeroy Fuck you right

2018-11-21 12:58:24 UTC

you need the daylight, not enough vitamin D makes it worse

2018-11-21 12:58:34 UTC

But damn it Jim, I'm an accountant, not a doctor 😂

2018-11-21 12:58:38 UTC

Yea but I'm VERY anti-social

2018-11-21 12:58:39 UTC

funny though I'm on nights atm hahah

2018-11-21 12:59:00 UTC

I have breathing problems when I go outside and even getting to work is hard

2018-11-21 12:59:09 UTC

I hate ordering food at the food court

2018-11-21 12:59:11 UTC

@coattailsandbowties do enough small things that you can list them when you feel down, and not enough to tire you out.

2018-11-21 12:59:14 UTC

it is hard when you`re depressed, I just want to lock myself away and sleep for days but what I found helps for me is getting out in nature a bit, taking the dog out for a good walk in the fresh air, get the endorphins poomping a bit and it does lift my mood greatly. Its just the motivation to get up and go out and do that thats hard, gotta force it

2018-11-21 12:59:18 UTC

Because my eyes always lock with somebody

2018-11-21 12:59:32 UTC

part of it's like mandy says I guess

2018-11-21 12:59:34 UTC

get out

2018-11-21 12:59:38 UTC

Yeah exercise can help

2018-11-21 12:59:39 UTC

get some air

2018-11-21 12:59:43 UTC

get some vistas

2018-11-21 12:59:43 UTC

I agree mandy

2018-11-21 12:59:46 UTC

yeah, chickens got me up in the mornings for most of a year

2018-11-21 12:59:48 UTC

Anything tbh

2018-11-21 12:59:49 UTC

outside helps

2018-11-21 12:59:56 UTC

Depression is best countered if you can feel up to it with exercise

2018-11-21 12:59:57 UTC

That's more of a general way to deal with it.

2018-11-21 13:00:02 UTC

climb some tall buildings in central london

2018-11-21 13:00:05 UTC

Anything different from what your doing currently

2018-11-21 13:00:14 UTC

get a nice view up there :colbert:

2018-11-21 13:00:16 UTC

and also go to class :P

2018-11-21 13:00:26 UTC

@Aya Ok calm down

2018-11-21 13:00:35 UTC

we not at that level yet

2018-11-21 13:00:35 UTC

It depends on how it works for an individual. Some people don't get endorphines from going outside, so going out more *doesn't help*

2018-11-21 13:00:49 UTC

Perhaps but it's worth a try

2018-11-21 13:00:50 UTC

Same with exercise

2018-11-21 13:00:51 UTC

i get anxiety from going outside in the wrong context

2018-11-21 13:00:57 UTC

I got endorphines all the time at work if I was doing stuff at height/confined spaces

2018-11-21 13:00:58 UTC

she's gone to classes before and people have reminded her here, if she's capable of that she's capable of doing a lot of stuff

2018-11-21 13:01:05 UTC

***depression isn't a monolith***

2018-11-21 13:01:06 UTC

one of the fave things about that job

2018-11-21 13:01:29 UTC

It's hard thing to fix and I dont think anyone here will know how to fix your individual situation, all I can say is I wish you the best in over coming it @coattailsandbowties

2018-11-21 13:01:32 UTC

kept you on your toes and was rewarding at the end of the day

2018-11-21 13:01:38 UTC

plus getting paid for it wasn't bad either
