a globe/ball/sphere is the most stable shape, if the only force considered is gravity, because the force pulling to the centre (of the gravity) is the same from all angels.
so when a new star, planet or moon forms, it automatically becomes a globe, because all the gas and dust slowly falls together into a globe...

I've asked myself that question, sought for answers and came to the conclusion that the moon landing is, as far as I can see, real.
At least, dust particles was pretty much impossible to animate like that in those days unless you manage to film it that way. To film it that way you need the gravitational force of the moon, and not the earth.

Technology was not advanced enough to fake something of that scale.
It would cost even more to fake it than to just go to the moon.
That I doubt, but it would be obvious
@Jondar02 To get the technology to be able to replicate the direction of light shown on the moon landing they would need an extremely powerful laser light, something that was still new to the world at the time and costed ridiculous amounts of money to manufacture.
On top of this
If the moon landings were fake the Soviets would've said something about it.
On the other hand, the tech to land on the moon wasn't available either, but either way it wasn't fake that's for sure
