ok
im no religious person but i know the answer to that
at least the answer given
All knowing and all powerful
Also, why does Christianity show god as a male? Why not a female, or maybe ungendered?
To play a bit of a Devil's Advocate, should an Omnipotent God stop murders? And if so...why?
ok
If he doesn’t, he’s malevolent, which defeats the purpose of praying to him.
i dont care much for this discussion i was just wondering
Why ask for help from someone who wishes the opposite on you?
No he shouldn't because it'll mess up the world if we have a immortal god running around murdering people instead of them going to trial
@Saturn No. Because He has allowed humans free will.
there are a lot of religious people here
its drew
😄

hru
@Drewski4343 why doesn’t he make us kinder, while still giving us free will?
im ok
Make us kinder? Like, alter our personalities?

That’s not what I mean.
If you are curious, the same thing happened early on in Quantum Mechanics

Why not start us off with kindness?
Or entirely different social standards, in some cases.
If god doesn’t intervene, why do people still pray?
Moral good and evil are not as black and white as we'd like to say...
And who is to say that our understanding of good and evil are objective at all?
And once something good happens it gets blamed on him
Because babies start off completely open to impression. How they turn out is at the free will of the parents or guardians.
Generally, anyway.
Eh I dont think free will is real - we make decisions based on our situation and previous experiences
Agreed. Cause and effect.
Sure...but whose to say that *isn't* free will?
exactly
Free doesn't always require the same connotation.
