Let me think of an example

Ok as an example of a situation in which conservatives ignored presumption of innocence: the invasion of Iraq because we suspected they had weapons of mass destruction. This isn’t an example of when presumption of innocence is immoral (it was moral in this case) but it is an example of conservatives flip flopping on this issue.

Still thinking of a time where presumption of innocence didn’t work on an international scale.

We invaded Iraq because they launched an act of war upon our nation

When the ally your defending was the demographic that actually did 9/11

And just murdered a journalist

They just happened to be from Saudi Arabia

All I am saying is that we should preserve all allies we have

How about this: the holocaust. Very little was known for a while about what the Germans were doing with their internment camps. Should we have applied the presumption of innocence to them?
