@hcaez @sɪᴅɪsɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀᴇ @chad What do you think about the near future automation of jobs that will cause unemployment to rise incredibly as human workers become obsolete and expensive compared to robotic workers? Should we impose regulations on the amount of robotic workers companies can hire, or maybe a base income for everyone since the majority of people will be unable to work?

I think it's a perfect opportunity to invest into infrastructure

there's tons of work that needs to be done there, our nation's bridges need a ton of work rn

hmm I wanna say you underestimate how much work there is to do there, but I don't know the numbers of potentially displaced workers/how much work is needed for infrastructure

at the very least, I offer it as a partial temporary solution

Well think about it though, roughly 250M available workers in the US

if the government employed all of them

We should take 25% of our military budget then put it into infrastructure programs
