There should be a study wether or not a person being political in his life influences the country

2018-12-13 20:42:35 UTC

I bet it turns out it doesn't and people are just wasting their time

2018-12-13 20:43:10 UTC

Same could be said for voting. It’s the mass cultural shifts that are a result of individuals acting. It’s not meaningless, it’s just very close to meaningless ya know?

2018-12-13 20:43:44 UTC

Yeah and most people don't even vote

2018-12-13 20:43:48 UTC

Politics are a joke

2018-12-13 20:44:05 UTC

Ban politics

2018-12-13 20:44:11 UTC

They're a danger to world peace

2018-12-13 20:47:42 UTC

"and to re enter the Paris climate agreement "

2018-12-13 20:47:43 UTC

Hell no

2018-12-13 20:48:01 UTC

the Paris agreement did nothing to reduce the C02 emissions and at it's best case would delay global warming by 4 years

2018-12-13 20:48:07 UTC

While costing trillions of dollars

2018-12-13 20:48:09 UTC

millions of jobs

2018-12-13 20:59:13 UTC

That’s very reductive of what it did, which was much more than that. What’s your solution @sɪᴅɪsɴᴏᴛʜᴇʀᴇ

2018-12-13 21:01:43 UTC

Let the free market innovate

2018-12-13 21:01:46 UTC

technoligies

2018-12-13 21:01:57 UTC

not some bureaucrats pocketing money

2018-12-13 21:03:28 UTC

@wahx The first world creates relatively low carbon emissions. If you wanted to reduce emissions you would have to target developing manufacturing hubs like China, Vietnam, and Cambodia, and pretty soon much of Africa. Are you willing to destroy the only hope these peoples have for becoming economically self-reliant in order to lower the risk of climate catastrophe?

2018-12-13 21:04:47 UTC

Are you the same ivlivs as the right Cafe? Lol

2018-12-13 21:07:05 UTC

I've said nothing contradictory

2018-12-13 21:08:23 UTC

I think every people has the right to a homeland, and people should be treated by different standards depending on where they are in the world.

2018-12-13 21:09:05 UTC

"carbon emissions"
CO2 is just bullshit.

2018-12-13 21:09:34 UTC

there is real polution that should be stopped.

2018-12-13 21:10:38 UTC

It's more productive to argue under left wing assumptions because even there all the proposed solutions can be easily proven to be bullshit

2018-12-13 21:13:12 UTC

why are you even trying to argue if you start with false information and assumtions?

2018-12-13 21:13:42 UTC

It serves a practical purpose

2018-12-13 21:14:45 UTC

It matters little if someone believes in manmade climate change if they don't support bad environmental policy

2018-12-13 21:17:04 UTC

so you think end justify the means, even when you are just harming serious discussions with false information and assumtions?

2018-12-13 21:17:33 UTC

yes

2018-12-13 21:17:45 UTC

and even when third world is poluting world.

2018-12-13 21:18:03 UTC

that's what I said

2018-12-13 21:18:35 UTC

so you are litterally here to poison the well.

2018-12-13 21:19:29 UTC

I'm here to discuss and possibly convince some people to have a more practical and righteous worldview

2018-12-13 21:20:10 UTC

arguing under false assumptions or a bad paradigm is something you must often do if you want to convince people

2018-12-13 21:21:00 UTC

or maybe just maybe learn to make better arguments, instead of using cheap leftist strategy.

2018-12-13 21:21:19 UTC

that's an odd attitude

2018-12-13 21:21:35 UTC

neither side owns strategy

2018-12-13 21:21:35 UTC

It’s not super convincing when all you do is criticize his arguments without saying why @Jasse

2018-12-13 21:21:49 UTC

don't join in on this one bud

2018-12-13 21:22:00 UTC

he's not a bad guy he's just more idealistic than me

2018-12-13 21:22:00 UTC

I’ll join in on whatever I want thanks

2018-12-13 21:24:00 UTC

i only pointed out that he just admited he is here just to poison the well. and having really dishonest strategy of "winning debates"
