Which shows he’s anti police, because most of these men weren’t innocent and were justified . Being unarmed doesn’t mean you’re innocent

A tax rate that high will cause a recession immediately

That’s only if the effective rate is significantly higher than the effective rate under a 90% marginal

Which it’s unlikely that it would be

I’m saying if there was a 70% tax rate with loopholes closed. It will cause a recession

Because there never has been a tax rate that high ever

Not even above 50%

There’s only 2 scenarios raising rates that high,

A) The loopholes are closed and a 70% tax rate is effective. Which moved forward into a recession

B) the tax rate is face value and the effective is much lower. But spending has increased meaning the tax burden falls down to the middle class.

Which will be through tax hikes

And the 70% at face value will deter any investments

Like in Sweden ,with a tax rate of 60% we see the tax burden is quite heavy in the middle class

Infact the rich have a lower Burden there than the US

But bare in mind that’s not the effective tax rate either, it’s much lower
